Ya I have done it in a Scat Cat 32. Started a smaller prop x452 then a X455 I had about 15 minutes run time in the fifties. We went on up to a X462 but the boat was too small for that high of speeds and the newbie driver I built it for. all on 4S.

That is a great 4S motor you can prop up to a X460 and still have long run time. You will be flying around 70tie with that setup.

That's the same hull as my rivercat I think. On 6s my rivercat has been 84.5mph and with a 45 mm prop. I believe in the opposite as you....small prop....high rpm.....handle better.....drive better.

Here's an 83mph pass. 6s. Same motor. M645 prop. Batteries Not fully charged to their capacity.

when you prop up on these narrow hulls like that, you lots of handling issues. I prefer a smaller or medium size prop and a decent amount of rpm. i'm not scared of 40 to 45k rpm in what we are doing with the boat. Ive build a few for people like this and they work reliably.

Totally agree with this, I like rpm on all my smaller boats... Anytime you start putting on a bigger prop the prop starts torquing the back of the boat in bad ways... Small props allow the hull to do what it was designed to do for sure!

I am not disagreeing with you completely, i was looking at some middle ground, in fact you can see in my speed calc post i used an x448 as the example..........your 645 is great as well, maybe a 548 etc..............

No problemo! I just have done enough experimenting with this particular setup in narrow hulls to know what way we need to go. Big prop makes these things roll over and/or prop walk pretty bad

Yep, the Genesis hull is the worst by far................thin sucker that it is! Anything over a 42mm makes it wanna flip on throttle input

So my inlay seems to be dry enought at the moment so i think i will take the next step in reinforcing it. I plan on putting 35 grams of epoxy in each tip, and 36 grams in the transom. I heard of people chopping up some carbon fiber and putting it in their epoxy is their any specific way in doing so.

Wear a mask when doing this. Take some scissors and cut the edges of some carbon cloth into short carbon hairs. You don't need alot, but a decent amount. Do this over a sheet of paper. Then brush into your epoxy that's mixed and ready to go. Wear gloves and a mask or respirator. You don't want to breathe the hairs in, they float in the air easily.
