I did reinforce the transom with more carbon, and the front of the sponsons with chopped carbon fabric like you mentioned i don't know how well it is but it feels more solid :)

I had a death in in my family tuesday. Someone close to me. I've been dealing with that, so the boat has been on hold a couple days. I did look at the trays, the sponsons are so wide that the last one I built I made my own trays out of cf sheet. I'll probably end up doing that, I'm not sure. The long battery trays they sell could fit but they won't go from side to side.i'm probably just going to order the battery trays from fighter cat because not sure what size i will need unless you recomend other battery trays that will work?, look foward to see what you do with that strut i'm still confused on it (: lol.. love that motor mount very clean!32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Now that I have a little time I'll post what I did to adapt the .250 flex strut.
I cut two 1" prices of brass. One fits snug in the bushing in the strut, the other fits snug into the first brass piece.
Then I drilled some holes in the bigger piece to solder them together. I used a little propane torch.

Soldered and sanded smooth on the belt sander

Then I took a swedging tool to it at the end to help hold it. Surprising how easy it was to swedge. It was blue loctite in place also.

Now I drilled a hole right in the middle. There a grease fitting and I still want to use it so the hole will let grease to the shaft. Hole shown in above pic.
Then I made another bushing for the front. The stuffing tube is naturally too small just to go into the strut, so I used two sizes of tubing to adapt. Same method I soldered them together. I tapered the end of it. Then after confirming the length was correct, I blue loctite it in. The first attempt it was too long. The loctite grabbed it withing seconds and it would not come out. I had to heat it to get it out so don't worry, loctite will hold!

Then it's in the strut. I tapered the front of the strut because I felt like it

Looks great! Why the prop choice? I love how you curved the servo mount.37" Fightercat Shocker powered by Neu 1530 on 10SComment
