Wow, cool, I've got that strut to try on my cheetah. Need the reducers as well. Thanks bud!

OCTOC68RB which is the PROP REDUCER BUSH .250/.187. from Graves Rc Hobbies) that are made for converting from .250 to 3/16ths. Then you can use the Teflon bushing in it. On my set up I pushed the one in the back and then removed the flange on the second one for the front, but some lock tight on it and pushed it in. In the one pic where the |x| is is where the front bushing sets. Now I can run the 3/16th Teflon bushing in it. Looks to me you should be able to do the same, just push the front one in a little so you can get stuffing tube in the nose of it as well.

I learned something when doing the daytona and applied it here. I heat up the jb weld a little till its kinda runny, then brush it outward to get a cleaner effect. When I peel the tape, it's going to look nice.

              ....and I like them too...

The JB will look nice when done. Did you keep a blob off to the side so you can tell when it's setting up? I just want you to be able to get the tape off when it's cured or almost...

Maybe you know what yer doing already...

Yes sir, I time it. 4 hours and it's time to peel the tape. I use a gram scale to get my mix perfect every time

Lookin' awsome Travis, as usual! You need to do a drag boat with DJ and I when you get done with all these other builds for other people. It'll be time to build one for yourself by then!!

Thanks fellas. Man I dunno, I've got several boats to build for myself before I can worry about something else. Lol

I'll figure the strut bushing out tomorrow night. I had planned on making my own trays in my cheetah but this one i dont know. It's a long story attached to this build and I've had to come out my pocket for parts because this build for this person was supposed to be a shocker. He didn't want to wait any longer and had me start on this after I had ordered parts for a different boat....so I had to reorder parts for this one. So the battery trays I ordered aren't really the right size but they may work. I'll check...

i'm probably just going to order the battery trays from fighter cat because not sure what size i will need unless you recomend other battery trays that will work?, look foward to see what you do with that strut i'm still confused on it (: lol.. love that motor mount very clean!
