Chuck if you do not watch these guys they will have one of those in your beer while you are not looking and use it as a straw.

Hi Slim one more thing is your strut set to push the boat down or up at the back I allways run 1 to 1.5 degrees of angle that is trying to lift the back of the boat up. more thing to look at

Must admit old guy I am not entirely sure what you mean by sitting in the water ass down, when she is floating i.e. stationary the ass end sits in the water by a lot (I hope to post a video up soon) by that I mean the whole rear is submersed. As soon as I hit the loud peddle she quite latterly rises out of the water and skims across but she skips i.e. the tail bonuses a bit. The experimental turn fin worked at very slow speed but as I cranked the RPM up she turned right and eventually flipped over onto her lid.

I think Paddy needs to check the dimensions for the rods because I cannot get her set up correctly equally on each side (unless I have pushed the 10mm rods back when inserting the plugs) the 8mm rod is about 4 – 6mm outside the sponson, is this right?

The strut bracket is not touching the water I don’t think, well hope not, haven’t dared to get that close at the speeds she is running.

No the prop is in line with the hull in all directions, Why would you want to turn Mr Krabs into a submarine?

Slim you are correct. I am 2mm each side over length with my 8mm tube. Just cut the 4mm off.
That tail hopping is a sure sign that the angle of your strut is not correct. I learned the hard way with my outriggers about this. Your prop is pushing the a$$ of the boat in the air. Here is what to do....
Remove all the rubbish from the kitchen table (meals, cutlery, sauce bottles, milk jugs etc.) Now you have just made a nice work bench and you can eat on the sofa like the rest of the world :) At this stage the wife or g/f will probably leave you and you will have more money for boats.
Remove your prop and turn fin. Place Mr. Krabs on the table and check to see if the bottom of the strut is sitting flat on the table. If one end is not flat on the table it needs to be adjusted so that it is. The way your sponsons and strut touch your table is the same way they will touch the water. One last thought about it is that on my Xzess 2 hulls a 3 bladed prop also makes the a$$ hop. I call it Shakira's a$$.

Paddy you can fix that for about $5000.00 and it would give you something to play with besides your baots and your digerdo

Rick you are correct but how many boats will $5000.00 buy? It would probably get me two boats and a UL-1. I am going to spend about 3 seconds making a decision about this one. Ok I will go with the boats and just swap g/f's with one of my mates.

How is your Krabs coming along Rick? Has the wifes hair dryer melted that lake yet? She is going to be angry when she finds out what you did with it.

One thing the CD did not have Paddy was the place ment of the holes that hold the front boom rod brackets to the side of Mr Krabs. Mine just came with the CD Rick. H&M are not big on instructions. They make nice boats but a little paperwork would be a big help. I have a YGE esc in my Mr. Krabs and that is German too. They give you some paperwork but the translation into English is not great. It is a great controller though. Mine is not watercooled and the 1521 1D only makes it warm.

Rick I spend 95% of my time on this forum so I do not know many links but here is one that might help.
