Yeah, I caught the notification and went w-what? It's ok buddy, it's been a long day for a lot of us.

I like doing 'different' things sometimes. And I did used to do it on my hot rod/race cars too.;-)

Nice job on the hatch Shawn. Looks really tight to the deck. So the ESC's are mounted under the deck? And held in place with just the rubber bands?

They are a little more than just rubber bands Ken. I am going to affix some thin foam between ESC and deck as well to help with vibration transference. Or at least that is how I think it will work.

Yea, they look more than rubber bands, lol, sorry. Trying to visualize in those close up pics where they are mounted, just above the motors?

Yup, right above the motors. I am going for a good clean look in this hull. Or so goes the plan ;-).

They like the outdoors. That pic was from when they were similar in size still. George is lab/mastiff so is almost 100lbs at his 9months now. McKenna is 10.5 months so it has been a busy year and quite disruptive to boat time, worth it though.

I upgraded my cooling jackets with 5mm fittings and a little trick that I have been doing for awhile. I give the water a little direction. This does work as I have seen inside my Black coolers some streaking from the contaminants. I put a little relief toward the bottom of the cooler/motor so that the water does not take the short path up to the top outlet.

I also got some work done to the ESC's in the form of larger more accessible water fittings and my 8mm bullets

And of course, the ongoing hatch work. We are up to glazing putty and wetsanding now. That windshield is going to remain clear'ish to facilitate a pair of ominous eyes/lights http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1-10-1-16-1-1...item259c08fed3

I got my parts for my SOLID push/pull setup. The parts here are titanium and aluminum turnbuckles so that I have a bit more adjustment when needed such as when I change rudder extensions with struts.

The oval brass tube will be installed thru the transom for the rods to pass thru with my rubber bellows placed on the inside. The bellows go inside so I can still get to the adjustment hole in the turnbuckle on the outside of transom. Here I have my pilot holes as I started with small rods to make sure I got correct alignment.

And this should be how it will look installed

My hatch should be completed this week as well as some other minor bodywork before it goes off to a painter that I recently met. This hull is too large for me to paint in whatever makeshift paint booth I can come up with in the dead of winter around here.
