I have burned several motors and even that can be unpleasant and stays there for a number of weeks. On my maiden for my H&M Intruder S, the two FighterCat out runners were on the verge of burning up just after 4 minutes plus run. The smell was horrible, lol... and the motors were even completely burned yet.
( I changed to Scorpion motors and they are truly great)
The smell isn't bad and I did not clean the boat that much. There is a hint of smell but nothing that compares to the other stuff I have burned up lol the esc is out on the patio lol

The next esc will have a lexan plate painted orange and will use 3m double tape . No sense in making another aluminum esc plate if I'm not going to use it for a heat sink.

Added a couple 1000uf caps @ the 8mm plugs . I have a castle cap bank and they say within 3" of esc . So not sure if this will help but I'm sure it's better than nothing.image.jpg
