The Rudder Complete!!!!!!
Well hare is the finished rudder Assembly I got hold of more aluminum at work so I could finish the whole Assembly,
My first couple of pictures are of the raw chunk of aluminum after I rough cut it then I have a couple of brushed photos (that gets Ace's Goat he hates the brushed look) but then I polished out the steering arm so it would match and I could remove the hatch tape holding it on. All in all it turned out real well, What do you guys think?Peter Eells; Fun, and Helping others To Have Fun!!!

Stick to the side makes it easier to remove the flex after a run. The difference isnt criical for a sport boat...On all my single drive cats I run mine to the right...Twin cat 9xl,... 29 titan 8xl,....37 in mono kb48 8xl.... 42 in twin elc cat project... 42 in gasser cat 260 modded zenoh''' planes and trucks....Comment

Well this bad boy is only going to sport a single with about 3000 KVA and I am working on a center mount design, and as for slop it is very minimal due to the nature of the design.Peter Eells; Fun, and Helping others To Have Fun!!!

Yes I know it is a little bulky I just got it roughed out, you would have thought even worse if I didn't loose my picture of the thing as a block glued to the hatch I was mad I lost that one because I have been trying to show things as I start them.
Now everyone don't go thinking that the rudder is rough looking by that last picture because it is not a true likeness of what it really looks like these high resolution cameras pick up every little thing even if it is not there!Peter Eells; Fun, and Helping others To Have Fun!!!
