1.6 pitch props kill electronics if the boat is not running almost perfect. Go to a 1.4 pitch !!!!!!

Listen to what Chris has to say. 1.6 pitch for a mono is a lot. A higher pitch prop (like 1.6) gives more lift than a 1.4 pitch. Result: The nose of your boat is pushed into the water and you boat runs even more wet. Modellbaupirat in Germany sells props with 1.25 pitch in steel. Those props are just graupner K props but insted of carbon he makes them in steel. They work really great on mono boats. Buy at least some 1.4 pitch octura props. Detongue your octura props to keep your current draw under control.

Your cg should be around 28% for a racemaster. Move your battery to the back of the boat to set your cg right. Your stinger should be in a neutral position. Maybe a little bit negative but that's it! Try the neutral position first with your battery more towards the back of the boat and with an 1.4 (or lower) pitch prop. You should be able to get a runtime of 5min out of a 5000mAh 8s lipo with a racemaster. I think your motor position is to far forward right now, therefor, you can't get your lipo's further back to get your cg right. If your cg is to much forward, your boat runs wet like it does now. If it is still possible, I would move your motor further to the back of your boat. Just my opinion :) Good luck with your beautiful racemaster!

I have a 27-29% cg already, it was a perfect point for me after the first tests. I have three props, Octura x445, m545 and x645, all of them was testet. Maximum speed and best run at the x645.

Ok. I was see many advices last days. Let me sum up the results.

        1) cg at the 28% and stinger at the 0 to the bottom.
        2) x445 or m545 prop for all times, not only for starting.
        3) new motor TP4060 at 1400 kv (some powerfull than leo4092)

I will try this setup next spring and post there new video. Thanks to all for the help.

I'm going to say maybe add just a touch of trim tab Cyber. And then give some nice full runs and not so much off and on. It is hard to tell temps too with all the off/on.
            But it is looking good.

Yes, you right. I has full run at the second complect of accs, it was end with crush :) Boat was turn to the left board each time than it up from the water. It can be from the differend weight at the left and right board. Next tests will give me more information.

It's not bad but it still looks like it's running a little wet. On the strait WFO passes, I saw spray coming from about 2/3 of the way up the hull..

you are right. i will try to fix it with stinger configuration, but don't sure that is possible.

Hello, guys! Since the last year I changed my shaft-line and swap motor to more powerfull. Today I checked how is boat running. I'm completely satisfied, there are some exact settings needed but it won't give much influence.
