Pete hit a home run with this one... It's running well already.

Ray - don't start adding weight to a boat until you know it needs it! It's easier to add than it is to take it out (IMO)

Will do Mike. I'm only adding 68grams to the left to balance out what I used for turn fin backer etc...

Thank you! I think I'm going to go for Dinogy 4000's x 2... I'm talking to my sponsor about it, lol... aka the GF!

Looks like you glued the nose blocks in before you sheeted the top, is this right? I will do it after I think.

Tomorrow I fill it with foam blocks and skin it. Right now it's upside down getting a fillet of epoxy & chopped glass in the sponsons. The fillet is upside down so that's why. I tried to fillet with chopped glass in all joints of the sponsons. No weight added except the same aluminum as what was used for turn fin mount well... maybe just a 1/2oz of lead in the left sponson but, there's lots of epoxy in there.

I added flotation. Not really sure why I do this. It's a fraction of what is required to hold it up.

Top deck glued on with the usual ridiculous-ness of weights, tape, and clamps.

Yes, I put the nose pcs on first. I don't think the order matters. So, you gonna have this thing ready for June?? Seems like a long time a way, but it will go quick!

Yeah, I know, don't remind me. I'll be there a day or two early to test it, lol...

If I skin it tonight then I have to clear it and do the canopy. The rest isn't too bad. I'm not working right now so, I have time, MAS just takes 24 hours to dry though.

I am notorious for late builds... Still have a N2 Sport ML 265 to build and maybe a 335, lol... They are a lot simpler to build than the Whip. Just the size alone, 36" is a PITA to build while sitting all the time. Give it a try. Booo Hoo... I'll get'r done, I have to I'm supposed to be the TP Power dude of Q-Sport, obligations man!

Sweet. I'm almost there, the aesthetics will not come anywhere close to your skilled finishing work.

How deep is your strut and are you using the 1250Kv 1527 or?? curious as to what prop you are going to try first, I need all the help can get.

I'm running a 1530 (1355KV). 455 prop. I ran it at the first two club races and am very happy so far. Center of prop shaft is dead nuts with bottom of sponsons.

Cool. How much does the boat weigh "ready to run" with lipos installed?
