By this day I don't have good enough batteries for this kind of use, so I was thinking of buying 2x5s and 2x6s. Then I have the opportunity to do 10s - 12s then you can take it out for a top speed attempt and also go for a sunday drive:-P
No, the reason is that later on if i'm going to upgrade to the Lehner motors i can chose whatever motor I want and not let the batteries decide:-D

Is tempting to try the 1050kv on 12s starting with small props and go upwards and use the logging in the esc's for safety and some temp sensors on the motors to the radio.

If the RPM's is to high for the 1050, maybe go for the 1000? differense is around 1700rpm. weight differense between 11s and 12s will be around 300g total.

    Hard choice!!!
1 minute im thinking the 1000kv the next 1050kv. I'm soon going to the mental hospital if I can't deside.

On the safe side the 1000kv is better, not so close to the max rpm

The battery amount I quoted over is for one motor. Total 4x5s and 4x6s

By the way I would go for the TP 5850 4Y at 1000kv.

Think that choice is the smartest and safest of the two. You make all your decals, also make by order?:P

I do custom orders, that's almost all I do. Latest custom order was the Spirit of Norway (HPR 5009)

Spektrum - Futaba, what ever you like or can afford they are both nice. As for my Futaba 4PKS, I love it!! but out of the box kinda complicated LOL

Heard the spektrum maybe has/had some range problem, but the marine receiver looks nice.

Do you guys use capacitors and spark supressors?

Spectrum mr 200 and mr 3000 work very well for me I put both antennas out the hull it can never hurt to use extra caps and anything I run that is higher than 4 ton5 cell I use an anti spark.

Were considering the Dx4s with the MR 3000 receiver or the Futaba 4PLS.

A buddy of mine is selling his 4PKS, almost not used. But it cost almost the double of the other 2.

I'll say +1 on the spectrum. I run a Futaba 3pm-x have never had an issue. You can't go wrong with either of them in my opinion.
