Agree, this thing is HOT. If I was ever building a mono it would be this

So what hardware am I looking at? This is a exciting build because of this. This is how a mono should be done. Awsome!!!

The hardware is all Werner WD200. Kind of pricey but its very nice hardware. Here's what I've been working on today. The boat stand, can sit on top of the keyboard stand,(thanks Joel for the idea) for when I am working on the boat. Or when I'm at the lake, the keyboard stand lifts it up to where I can work on it anywhere.

The PVC stand itself, protects the rudder and prop area. Then at the rear of the boat transom, there is a little stopper on the PVC stand to keep the boat from sliding back during transport.. Then at the front, how the bow goes under the handle. It keeps the boat from sliding forward during transport.

It might be a few days till I get the hardware drilled and in place. Work calls unforunately.

In the firrst picture. The stand looks bowed. But its really not. I had seen the picture. And pulled the boat off and put the stand on the floor again. It really fairly level all the way down.

And plenty of room for the rudder.

I need to do this as well. Look great for for transport as well. Looks like you spent some time at the hardware store.
Looking on google. I found this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVcVX9-l_WU
Has any one used this set up brushless?

I would love to build a boat out of these drives. But man-O-man are the expensive

All I can say is, I don't wanna see a caliper, metal scale, anything that can measure anything for a few days. I measured, and re-measured, and re-measured, and re-measured. My eyeballs are going to hurt for a week. I don't wanna say I was a little on the OCD side on my measurements. But how most of you guys might double check. I probably recheck mine 7 to 8 times. And maybe alot more than than that.(10-100) I just wanted to make damn sure when I drill my holes friday, that the holes are exactly where I want them. Just the thought of F**king something up as small, as drilling a hole in the wrong spot on a hull that I already have $750-800 in just the hull and whats been done to the hull

When I drill my hulls I draw a template on ACAD with a centerline to line up on the hull. Then the only measurement I really have to make is the centerline of the hull. Then I tape the template on the hull and check it over a few times until I'm hapy with everything. Then just use a very small drill bit to start each hole. Makes the hardware placement very accurate.

Before drilling the holes I sometime align all the hardware on the template holes to make sure all the holes line up properly with the hardware and the hardware aligns properly on the hull

I think if I start building more boats, or can find the need. I'll buy a CAD program. I wish I could put the parts on and check alignment, But you can't see none of the hole in the parts when there up against the hull. But I'm very confident that all holes are where they need to be

Your hardware is top of the line like your hull!

Will you go for airbrush or a simple paint like gt40...

The way this drive sytem is set up it would take a big boat to keep it scale. Something like the Centralrchobbie 70" Outerlimit SV. I wonder if they would stand up to a brushless motor.

I finally drilled my holes. I got very lucky, I drilled all 24 holes. Then test fitted everything. I didn't have to mess with any hole. All the hardware bolted right up. I guess I measured everything right. The only thing I found so far wrong with the hull, is 2 small voids under the gel coat on the rear of the transom. But there very shallow, and I plan on putting a peice of CF plate for a backing plate anyways.
