Sounds like your Gov. runs things just like ours......bankrupt.

I am loving this build. I may have to do one myself soon.

            Doc said what ?

for all those that say a GPS doesnt give as good a reading as a time trip.. here's proof !

            430.jpg

still had some to go, but the sound barrier break wouldve upset the surrounding apartment occupants..

            ----------------------------------------

this one is closer to reality.. closer than the pic above ..

            197.jpg

2 pickups on rudder, blew one cooling line apart outside the hull.. smoked an esc.. but not the one without cooling !
            go figure..

Looks good but dont take personal but I wouldn't trust a gps that gave me a reading of 400 + do u have a video or a second run to back it. If it is accurate great wrk man

As a bendable rule, I do not record GPS'd achievements ...
The 430kmh result followed cartwheeling through the air from ~150kmh on PS4518/3's .. .. shazzam !
A subsequent run returned 197, 3rd spin of X665 as prepared by 'egneg' ..

GPS accuracy ? +/- 5% on dashboard my 4WD cruising the freeways.. the billboard "your speed is XXX" compared.

The run was certainly on the FFS side of fast... need more water time and another 'good day' to finish setup..

Will dust the radar gun and calibrate for next splash ...always plenty of enthusiastic volunteers to hold it.

BUT.. until I run this through time traps, the gps is all for shiztengiggles.

                      adieu

There is a very fine line between insanity and brilliance....Doc wheels on that line...(sometimes even walks!). The boat is definately crazy....

Gggrrrrrrrrrr.......Dont get me started on that subject.....

Last time was actually a fine morning in mid 2002 smartiepants..... My "fast" boats from then.... ummm embarassingly slow now!!

Yeah i got lots of stuff for us to try and break doc... lock a boatbuilder in a shed for ten years, crazy stuff tends to happen. Gonna be one hell of a launch day!!

just need to add some of your unbelievable "wisdom"..... (puke) :-)
