anytime you have a positive or negative angle on the stingers you are giving up speed for better handling. I set my stingers at exaclty 0 degrees toe and trim use the COG to adjust for water conditions. If you look at the toysport hulls built by joseph toth they don't use an adjustable stinger If a boat is built and balanced correctly you shouldn't need adjustable drives.

Made some prgoress today. I have one motor mounted and aligned. I ran the motor at low speeds with oil in the oiler to break in the drive and it's smooth as silk.

I had to wipe the drool off my kybrd again, after looking at those pics...nice work !...I was also wondering about the non-adjustable stingers, but do understand now why they dont need to be...sure makes my twin setup a bit less expensive and easier in the long run...tks .. DJ

Yeah and I've got 6 screws per motor, but I revised my motor screw device and it makes it a breeze. I'll post a few pics later

With the extened fuel tubing I can tighten the motor screws from outside the hull. Then I just use a standard 90 degree allen wrench to toque the screws down tight. If I can find some 3mmx10mm knurled cap screws that'd make it even easier

I've seen Travises work first hand as he has is some fashion had a hand in helping if not building the 5 fe boats I'm currently running . I wish I could do some of the things he is capable of with his creativity. And the blackjack he is building will truly be one of a kind.

Yeah why don't you come too my house around 6:30 and I should also have a shipment from kintech in tomorrow with 90% of what we still needed for the rivercat

That works for me. can't wait to see the river cat run. I ran the twin delta explorer today. I only used 5S for the first run. It ran really good

I finally got a chance to do some work on one of my boats this week. I'm working on 14 different boats it's hard to find time for my own, and by the time I do I'm to tired to get anything done. ha. Anyhow I'll post some more pics later.
