It's down to the wire on the motor selection. I was considering neu-1415 1y. I'm not too familiar with the steve nue motors. Most of the boats I've been build for the last few years are all budget builds using tacon and Leos. I'd like to step up to a higher quality motor. Any thoughts. thanks my friends
Okay it's time to make some headway on this build. I picked a couple of motors to use and ordered the remaining parts necessary less the props. I'm open to suggestions. I was planning on starting with a set of 42's up to 45's
I'm running CNC 445's on mine currently and it is handling well. So are those Castle 1415's? If so they should be a good choice.Or are those 1515's?
I would start with the 442's though.

I am running the PB 1800kv's and 4000mah 5s batteries. SK 120 speedy's.Just remembered that I have some 645's here too for this next season. She is running pretty good now though.

On 4S I'm pretty sure 1515's will swing those FC 645's without breaking a sweat. Looking like I'll have 8S 240amp ESC's. I also have some tacon 3660 2200's I could try. That way I could save the 1515's for another build
