    That is good news,

That picture is a little better,

I was just trying to see the hardware setup and gaps.

in the second pic, why are the trim tabs so far from the stinger?

          Hey Dana,
First is before PB 36"Shockwave was modded to FE,
That was the stock turn fin location before I bent them.36 Shockwave mod. 007.jpg
Second is my Rio ep stock location trim tabs, I just made them a little longer.

Lenny, sorry to interrupt: how does this hull ride, long time ago I fancied converting it, but that was WAY before I got seriously hooked by FE. Looks really good after you bent them.
            Cheers

              Hey,
Rides pretty good and can handle some chop to,
I still need to test 5s or 6s with a T600 1400kv motor and epoxy the setup in.
Instead of the hot glue that in it now, And then paint.

Thanks next set will include some inverted. Should have receiver box and servo tomorrow, so I can get them installed. Will be sure to sand epoxy before install:).
Should I epoxy some light ply to attach esc and receiver box to? What is best way to attach Eagle tree logger?
Going to change motor over to 6.5 bullets. Also realized that my lipo charger will not do 6s. So I am ordering Hyperion EOS 0720i SUPER DUO3 7S 16N CHARGER, from Steven along with prop balancer and water line clips.
Does the list ever end? :)
Should the hatch be reinforced with CF/Kevlar? Is it best to have hatch bolted or just taped.
Having a great time on the build!

Reinforce hatch? Ply mount board for ESC ans receiver?

How does the hatch feel ?
Flexible and does it have foam in it so it float if it come off in the water ?
Do not forget pool noodles in the hull, Also use for cells to stay in one place to,
You can use boards or velcro for esc and receiver to.

I have not done anything to the hatch yet. I will line it with foam, just did not know if it should be reinforced first. I have pool noodle to wedge into the nose of the hull and some along each side of interior of hull.
If I use 2" Velcro to hull is that enough? The seaking 180 has mounting tabs. The receiver box is very light and probably will be ok with Velcro.
Batteries will be double Velcro to the CF mounts which I will epoxy to the hull.
The data logger is Lso very light and I will Velcro that to the hull.

The good velcro will hold the cells if needed,
But sand and then epoxy the velcro on the edges if for the cells,
Just sand a little for the rx and esc than put the Velcro down.
Is the hatch thin or thick ?
Better safe than sorry with the hatch.

The hatch is fairly thin, I think I'll reinforce with CF/Kevlar then add foam strips.

Definitely reinforce the hatch.I had to do my 35"DF as the boat was flexing enough to crack it.

Another productive afternoon. Soldered bullets to everything, batteries, ESC, changed motor bullets to 6.5. Mounted the Traxxas waterproof 2075 servo and yes I remembered to sand first:). Final install of rudder and servo rod. Mounted the ESC on two inch Velcro and receiver box with HD Velcro. Cut off connectors on the Dynogy batteries and soldered on the 6.5 bullets. Soldered 6.5 bullets on the new 720i dual charger, thanks Steven, for the quick ship.
Tomorrow can set cog and mount CF battery trays. Should be ready for water tight test by Monday. Too tired to do the pictures tonight so I'll take them tomorrow and post.
I'll have to figure out details of the data logger and get that setup and installed.
