Well that is not real good.I noticed last outing a crack in mine in the exact same place, not as severe though.Let me think on it.You can still run it.Perhaps that is why it got painted like that. You should glass behind it not just cover it up.Can you make it flex a little(make the crack open?)? Told you you were gonna learn fiberglass stuff.

So is this a weak spot in the hull? im glad i found out the thing that caused this. I lost signal to the boat. The wire on my rx wire was cut. So fixed that. Hope this.doesnt happen again... Just need to fix it.

What did you hit Mason?I may have missed something here.

The hard part is going to be cleaning up the area in behind the crack so that epoxy will stick.

That is what I'm contemplating. I'm thinking a long piece of bamboo with sandpaper on the end.

Shim the crack open insert CA glue, remove Shim tape tight and call it done.

I was thinking a glue too. That would be the easiest. And its not all the way through...

As long as it is not all the way through then Shaughnessy is right.Just get it opened up a bit so that you can get CA in there.Thin CA would be best.

So the boat is sealed as well as I think its gonna get. But I can't test because... The esc is blown. So I might justbtry a weight test first. I'm getting a t180. so my guess I will be testing with my cousins turigy 60a. I.converted his blast to brushless. Hopefully there will be a video of the MG the blast and my.boat. But last time I tested my boat it ran well. On 4s. Was fast but bounced a LoT. I don't know how to fix that. Maybe some strut adjustment but its working good.

Ran the boat today on 2s. Runs great. Still more water in the hull at the end than I would like but ran great. Raced my cousins brushless blast. same motor and prop just different esc and battery
