Yep im gunna get ready and go on down there. Hah i think i figured out how to do it... Just put the rod on the rudder, go off a bit, make a 90 then have it straight a bit, then another 90 to go into the hull. Would this work?

Try not to do 90 degrees.Like I said before.Try a 30 degree,I know it takes more room But you don't really have to go over too much.

I have about 1/2 an inch to go over? Wouldnt the 90 look better and work better?

The 90 would allow for more flex in the rod and you don't want that.

Like I said earlier,Give it a little space so it won't bind and ram into the transom.I have already said most of this, you can review the thread and figure it out.

Well gramps is home.. didnt say a word about the boat but showed him it. First thing he said is, you need an S curve in that. Hah so today we are gunna mount the servo, and epoxy everything we need to... And seal up the boat. Might be finished today... Also, clouds went away, now its 70 degrees and sunny... Gotta love weather in st.louis... Haah maybe we can test this beast tomorrow

We are going to make a mount for the servo so we can remove it. We figured out where it needs to be so the rod is straight coming through the transom

Which piece of the rod goes to the servo horn? The black swivel like piece that is like a ball joint or the piece that has the allen screw that locks on the rod?
