Don't be sorry man, just a new experience.I love this forum for that.We all help each other. It is a good thing that is getting harder to find these days. There is alot of self absorbed people out there. There's my little RANT for the day.Canucks are playing tonight so I'll be going to the Clubhouse to watch.
have to agree with the first post about the delta force. That was the best advice. I hope you prove me wrong but i don't think the hull is gonna like the added power. The strakes are meant to lift at low speeds for the stock power plant. I think it will bounce a lot, probably chine walk to its death if it gets going fast enough.
Post the vid when done to prove the nah sayers wrong. Seems like too much time and energy into a hull that ultimately isn't hobby grade. I mean the tabs for the stock boat stand are still on the bottom, those should have been sanded and filled for sure. Sorry for sounding so harsh, but i think your expectations are a little high. I know you are excited about her so finish it up and lets see the video of it ripping.
You should have mounted your servo over like in the photo..............the rod needs to attatch to the horn on one side and the rudder arm on the opposite side so when it turns the rod stays centered thru the boot. The way you have it, the rod will be forced to bend as the horn and the arm fight each other when turning.

I don't think it is permanently mounted so it can be moved.
Mason,I'll check the thread first thing in the AM.
