Cool, start the painting and hold off on the hardware a bit. Make a wake and slash will be checking in and maybe they know of better or more affordable options for you on the hardware.

Ok cool. Have the paint can sitting in warm water and the hull is ready to be primed

Gotcha. Directions say wait 30 minutes before sanding. Waiting for the hatch to dry a little more and ill start sanding

I would wait a little longer before sanding Mason, tho the primer may seem dry to the touch, underneath its still not fully cured

Ok sounds good. Im gunna wait until 1 to sand the hull. The hatch was pretty bad, got it all smooth and resprayed it. Got the bottom of the hull sprayed. Seems smooth but there are some spots where its not.

Yeah, the primer will let you see it all! lol, but its ok cause its only primer and you can sand them out and touch up the bad areas once sanded

Im glad i saw that. Should 2 coats of primer good enough?

As long as evenly coated and you cant see thru the primer you should be good.Again, if u use that srut and rudder, you will have to make a stand off, even more of a stand off with this one!

That one will work Mason, you will just have to make a stand off out of a small block of wood to keep the front of the strut out of the hull of the boat
