      Nice. Hopefully you got a deal on that boat. They're about $1,200.00 right? And then stripped to the hull. I like it. Good luck Rob. I have a big stash of parts. Let me know what you need and if I have it I'll shoot it down to you.

          Thats a bit to high of a KV motor for 12S.....10S (or even 9S) would be more suitable.

              3.7V/Cell
              12S=44.4V
              RPM= V x KV.......in this case 44.4V x 910Kv = 40,400RPM

              Usually 30,000ish Rpm is used as a rule of thumb for racing, 25,000ish for sport running....with 40,000 that set up is in the SAW catagory.

                  For a quick reference, a "Volt-KV-RPM" Chart can be found at on FC's web site under "Fast Electric Resources."
                  the link:

                  In addition, the OffShoreElectrics "Speeed Calc." is a pretty awesome resource, too!

                    Ya I was going to point that out also John - a 730kv 5692 would be a much better choice of motors .

                    Rob where did you order the hull from .

                              More torque and better power for bigger props and I think more efficient.
