      Cool build Cooper!
I have a Shocker on the way and will be doing a build shortly, so I thought I'd drop in and check yours out. It looks like you put a lot of work into it! Congrats on your build and good luck with the maiden.

Looks really good. Where did you get the rudder? I have a new 41" fantasm from FC and I'm looking for one like that.

I'm not sure, but I believe that it was a combination of two from Jan at kintec. The short center mount rudder only had one pickup, so I used the longer standoff rudder with the shorter one so I would have two rudder pickups. Had both rudder assembly's around. Speed master also makes a center mount with shorter standoff. Not sure if that one has two pickups. Hard to find a large center mount short standoff rudder with two pickups. And I will have to drill the other side of the rudder out. More water flow when making left hand turns. And thanks, I will post some vids when she gets set up.

I am waiting on 2 TP Power Pro Competition 4092 Series 1600kv pushers. Most of the time I'll be running her on 6s @35520 rpm's and some saw running on 8's @ 47360 rpm's. Motors are rated at 60k and 40 volts, speedos are up to 8's and 240amps. I will be playing with some 442's 447's and some 450 3blade's. I don't have the calculator for the math, so I'm doing a lot of testing, have the data loggers to tell me how far to push things. But have a handfull of smaller props for getting the bugs worked out first. If anyone has the math for the above combos just to give me an idea if that will even be doable I would appreciate it. I don't want to see the smoke through the windshield just want her to scream! I have to get the title of the river where we are, jet skis, boats, everything, of the fastest! Kinda pi**es off the end neighbors with there brand new $$$$ jet skis that a "toy" is faster!

Thanks, I've seen some of your builds, so coming from you, thanks! Some bumps in the road for me but for the first real custom build I've ever done I'm happy. Just hope the wife is wrong, she said she would laugh at me if it sank of if I run it into the dock first time out, (little story in that one). :)

Found the calculator, will have some time learning and figuring it all out,

Hey guys, had her out several times. Running on 3s then 4s with stock b&s 442's. Was very surprised at my starting points, boat runs very flat. Will be up to 6s and start playing with props, I'll post some vids when I get her up to a respectable speed. The hatch works out very well and the seal is bone dry every time. Except when the cooling lines are not clamped on the motor jackets, slight leak when pressurized. Fixed and bone dry. No messing with tape anymore :)

I'm still taping the sides for strength when I blow over.Hasn't happened yet but... So I'm curious how the handling is with that rudder,I think it is back farther than mine.

I have a slightly shorter in height rudder on right now, handles surprisingly well so far. This weekend I'm going to run her hard on 4s to see just what it will take to flip in the corners. Boat is pretty heavy so any small wakes or chop it cuts right through, for as wide and flat as the ride pads are. I've been cautious so far, but now I know things are holding up (driveline hatch,, etc,,) I'm going to start "running it like I stole it" I'll post then.

What kind of weight are we talking?Mine is 10lbs RTR. Mine is not too bad in the corners but has gone over numerous times. Not to mention all slap happy over wakes.
Mind you I'm at 6s with 1800 kv.

I never did give it a final weight, she is down at my river lot, I'll will get back to you on her weight. With batts and let you know where I have the cog.

Well i will work on getting some video up. Got her on 8s running 442s detounged. Cog is rather touchy, and stingers are all the way down. Small props for this hull, but getting all the bugs out. Had some blow overs. That was due to rough water at speed. She stays planted very well. I haven't taken the radar gun out but just on 442s she is the fastest thing on the river already!! And all the numbers (data logging) have been in well acceptable zone. I actually haven't been looking at the data because even on 30volts and 442s the speedos are still cool and motors are just starting to get barely warm. Happy with everything so far! Electronics and hardware seem very capable of putting her to 85+ mph. Then the real fun begins, prop work to push her to the moon! Lol!!
