Whatya got in mind for the decals or paint scheme?

I gonna use some Pearl Purple for some graphics, kinda hard to describe what i have in mind but it should look pretty cool. On top of the purple, i'm gonna pin stripe it with silver, and also do some orange accents. I'm gonna let the paint cure for a few day's before i start taping, probably friday or saturday. For decals, the only thing i've decided on is the "FighterCat" lettering on the side, and the cat logo on the deck. Might get the hatch/turbine decals like on Gimps boat too. So far, even with some minor issues along the way, i'm loving this build!! Can't wait to run it in the spring!

I know what ya mean,sometimes it's hard to describe a vision.And I can't wait till spring either.I'm just about to start reassembly on mine.

You gotta have the Fightercat logos.
And pinstriping really accents the colours,it really set off my Miss Behavin',made all the difference.

Yeah the FighterCat logos are cool, i'm putting the same ones on the side of mine! I love how your's looks man, nice color combo!! When i'm at my family's cottage, i usually don't get to run untill dusk most of the time, when the lake calms down, that's why i'm goin overly bright with mine lol.

Here's a little paint teaser... After 3 hours of playing with tape, this is what i came up with, so far. All the area inside the blue tape will be pearl purple!

Thanks man! Nope, no airbrush, spraying it all from a cans lol. I'm gonna finish masking it in the morning then spray the purple!

I was just thinking you could freehand some silver in the purple.Just me thinking paint.I've just picked all this back up after being away from it for 15 years.Brainstorms are running rampant.Have ya seen Miss Behavin'?Mostly spray can.Also what about the windsheild?Decal or paint?

that will look sweet Checkmate,, you should spray the purple then put the same lines as your pinstripe with thin silver to seperate the green and purple,, i would spray on a windsheild so you can get the wright shape, everyone uses Jeffs or Fightercats but i like the Genesis windsheild so i taped of mine and made it just like the Genesis one,, the shape just looks better to me..

That's the plan Jerry!! Although, i was un-masking the purple on the cowl a little while ago and seeing that light blue border around it got my attention lol. I agree about the windshield, i am gonna spray my own intead of the decals, i did that on my Spartan and it looks much better IMHO.

I have the purple sprayed on now, after is dries up for a few hours i'll be un-masking it later!!
