I think I would like four cooling plates over three. Though I can not see clearly how many cooling plates are included. My main concern would be for any single ESC failure can the dual setup be fixed by replacing only one side or even if in the event of a single side failure if that would take out the other side as well. When my ESC went out it generated a great deal of heat and more than likely would have burned up anything shrinkwrapped to it. One other concern for me is how do you ballance the weight inside the hull unless you mount this dual controller dead center. Wow. I hope there is some kind of economic advantage to a dual ESC over two individual units. If not then I am not sure I would choose the dual model. Yet it looks great, I really like the single 16S300A with two cooling plates.

I don't know if these will make it to market what with the kafuffle at FC.But I'll try it and see what it will do with a pair of 950 kv TP 4082's in the Shocker.I'm bound and determined to hit 90mph reliably.

P.S.It was definately cheaper than two HV ESC's.About the price of one.

Nata, I am impressed with your Mystic 138 and the 82 mph and love the paint in your signature photo. But I have a question about your Genesis, Leo 4070/2200, SF200 (83km/h)? That is 51 mph? Is that the best you got out of the Genesis? Many guys are in that range with the stock 3674 no name motor.

Thank you Dave for the compliments. Well the Genesis was one of the fist boats. I had no experience about trimming what so ever. I have only resently looked at it again, thinking I should set it up for fun. She has 3-4 runs only Lol. Hopefully she will be in the 70mph range the way she stands.

Oh, the signature photo is not painted, all vinyl on a silver paint. You can see some close ups in the build thread.

Sorry Shawn for the off topic.

No worries about the Thread Kent. I haven't touched the Boat except for the runs last weekend with the gas guys.HAHA No gas boats ran and I just kept tossing batteries in and going.Mono,Hydro and Shocker. Here is a brief vid

I ordered a pair of 5518/2's from PropShop. The 3 blades push the hull a bit so the corners are a bit wide.So I'll cut the 55's down and try those.
Haven't gone to the new controller as I'm going to take the boat up to the Okanagan to visit friends and show off a bit.If I can get out early maybe I can race some ski boats.Hehe.

It's 300 amps each. There is one large cooling plate in the middle.

I just have to convert them to FE instead of gas.Or get more FE guys to go there. They do need a bigger membership base.

So I have been told that this ESC is two 300 amp ESc's put together.

Guess I have a controller for a Kent sized boat.

I'm working with the Ice2 200's right now for the Shocker.
