Really, unless you want to turn it into a shoreline projectile, put on a tube and antenna and run it externally. CF dissipate's the signal out to the point where it is almost not seen beyond a 15-20 foot range. I hate to see you lose control of it and have it disintegrate before your eye's. That's allot of money to send into the dirt. Ask Hydrojerry about his control issue's.
    Well said Sir!

I realy think my issue is one of my 5s batteries has a low cell, ive been trying to charge it up and then use the Astro Blinky Ballancer to equal it out but no good so far,, it will run ok if i just puttt around but if i try to get moving at all it freaks out mainly on one side,, think its the same side with that battery!!!

I already took the decision to sell my radio gear and go for the gt3b which has enough antenna to poke a few inches out of the hull, but thanks for the heads up, read a thread about someone with the same radio gear as I had watch their boat plough full throttle into the harbour wall ouch!!!!

You watched the same video I did! I was trying to find it to show you! I use the GT3B also Matt and it's top's! I have at least 4 inches protruding through it. I have almost 300 yards of distance before I start to loose signal. Glad to hear you chose different Transmitter. Gotta see some vids too!
