Finally figured out how I wanted my rudder servo mounted. I knew I wanted it centered somehow. A friend of mine LarrysDrifter gave me the inspiration on mounting it this way. But I did mine a little different. I was able to take my stock ekos mount and flip it upside down and trim a little off the edge and it worked great. Got that in and my 440 push rod made up.

I also did some trimming on the front lip where the batteries go in so it's easier to get them in and out.

Tomorrow I'll try and mount esc tray and maybe battery trays. Maybe even run some cooling lines.

What is that black material you put inside the hull? Doesn't look like CF, but looks good.

Enamel paint. I sanded it a little then primed it black. Then sanded it again and put a finish coat of gloss enamel on. Since I just laid up extra glass cloth and resin in areas for added strength before the build & all the glassing in the motor mounts and stiffing up transom area etc. Painting it helps make it all look more uniform. And will be a little more appealing to the eyes with the black, red & silver colors that will be inside. I brought it to work with me today so it could sit out in the sun a cure.

Looks very good. Your a fine builder. Now the rest of your boats should be built, not bought.

Yeah I have already called in my paint to my friends at the auto body paint supply. Picking it up tomorrow. It's going to be a 6th generation corvette color called velocity yellow and then turn into black on the back part. White belly. Might even throw some CF graphics in the back somewhere. All the graphics are going to be corvette 6th gen emblems and racing decals from the C6R race cars. It's gonna look good I'm sure. Jeffs working with me on the graphics I'll need. Once I get it painted and graphics in I'll clear over it all.

Thanks Larry. I've about had it with buying RTR crap and fixing it up. It's nice to do it on your own

Thanks for these Ben. Found a sweet spot for them inside too.

would be sweet if you could anodize like that.

Got the velocity yellow sprayed today after prepping the hull last night. Got 2 more colors to do still. But nothing to do but watch paint dry for days now. Maybe I'll take the sailboat out since it's windy.

This is gonna look sweet........for a Chevy scheme lol.

After seing your theme ideas, I was thinking about doing Ford GT theme for my FC Daytona. Can't decide between that or a Kevin Harvick Budweiser car scheme.
