This is test run #4 of the C6R Corvette Twin drive catamaran. Today I was testing a new set of lipos. I got a pair of Turnigy A-Spec 4S 5000mah 65C packs. I had to do some trimming on the hull openings down into the sponsons and make the esc’s easily removable. But they fit just right now. This testing was cut short today (only a few passes) because a coolant line from one of the 4 in hull pickups came off. The boat was starting to fill with water as it was running. On the very first pass it was really hauling ass across the water. The next few passes I could tell it was getting slightly slower. Then I noticed the radio system act up a couple times. So I brought it back and found what happened. I was really surprised at how fast it was still moving even with all that water inside. The electronics are spending the night in rice till I can check them out. In this video I used two cameras. One was an iPhone 5 and the other was my GoPro Hero 3+ attached to the rescue rig to record from on the lake. I decided to make the video showing one camera angle then the others. I included some of the build pictures at the end of the video.

Well today was bitter sweet. I finally got a chance to run it again today after a long long wait. It ran several consistent 77mph passes. I forgot to hit record on the gopro for video. And on the last speed pass it wrecked. I haven't got home yet to take it apart and inspect why it did what it did. It's like it tried to turn while going full speed.
