Nice. I never thought to try Stainless.

If this buggers then I'll go stainless.

I used 3/8 OD 1/32" thick wall Brass with the last 2 inches shimmed, silver soldered to 1/4" as the cable exits to motor.

Then inside the straight portion I have silver soldered in 3 pieces of brass tubing with spaces in between to trap grease/oil.

Where the cable exits the hull to the stinger, I have crushed the brass into an oval that is only 1/4" wide but, now taller thus giving me verticle adjustment on my stinger of approx. 1/8" inch up or down.

Hopefully this is good enough for my 40" mono?

I also fabbed some driveline coolers on my lathe. Fun stuff. The milling attatchment is becoming useful for other stuff now too. Someday I'll have a nice cnc like you.

Very nice Ray what motor you using - Deepgroove1 on ebay will be making a CNC lathe very soon - He modeled his system off of mine but Paul changed a few things up to make it more production friendly .

I have 3 power systems to try. A light 6s2p setup with a 5682-1360kv leopard & T240 esc. I also have a HK Pro-comp 1320Kv to try on 6S3P heavy setup. Last I'm trying something funky, a pair of T600-880KV motors, inline on 2 -120A HV esc's on 9S per motor.

Pretty crazy if I get to try all them out and see what the hull likes best. I want to try the twin inline motors first, just because i'm silly that way.

Very nice Peter, the motor and connectors look killer with that hull. I can see the gasser guys cringing again with another nitro killer even faster than the last one lol. Can't wait till spring to see it run.

              Say, back on post #12 you said;
10mm is good my 1st Sniper is setup at about 10mm but this one I want up a bit so I can spin a bigger wheel and it can still unload . Tylers 3080 Sniper is at 13mm that why I went with that location
. I'm building one of these and I was curios about the stinger location. So yur sayin that that the center of the hole for the stuff tube should be 10mm to 13mm off of the bottom? Will this help to plant the boat and help prevent high speed chine walk ? I'm using a CC 2028 for power with a SF240 on 9s or 10s

Yes that is correct 10 - 13mm from the bottom of the hull would be the holes center point - my red sniper in my avatar is set at 10mm , the orange one I am building now is at 13mm to spin a bigger wheel - post your build if you have the time RCKong

I could... I haven't done a build thread in a while. Do you use a .250 down to a .187 flex? Also from what I've read I'm considering a bulkhead

.250 flex to a 3/16 shaft in the red - .250 flex to a .250 shaft on the orange

                      Very nice Peter!
I really like the way you have solved the motor connector option.
May I ask what is the two devices in the cooling lines?

Those are negative pressure fuel cooling tubes.

Thanks Anbjorn....Any headway on your project

Close Ray but no cigar....I seen these on Kintec Racings website...they are inline coolers for watercooling but I doubt if they really make any difference but they look cool .

scroll half way down on this page and you will run into them

Hey guys see the turn fins on the red Sniper - does anyone know where I can get those - the left is 2.0" and the right is 3.0" . Any help would be appreciated

I am pretty sure it is the same Ray - yes those are speedmaster but I just can't find the small & large in a package like the ones on the red Sniper . If I find them somewere I will buy the set in a heartbeat

I think Rossisales will sell you anything you want from Speedmaster as a set or parts there of.
