i'm mounting a Lizard , congratulation for your clean mounting.
just wondering about CG.

on pictures i can see that motor is 15 cm from the back , right ??

my setup :
Feigao 12XL (thanck steven)
6S1P 5000 25C
Turnigy 180A
prop ........... i'm not sure 45 or 48 or ......more ??

i'm about fixing the stinger and my idea was to use a propeller between 45 / 48
but i never think using bigger !!!!

but motor are not same, i think my feigao have less power than your KB45.

i will read your theard carefuly

Hi The biggest prp i run is ABC H5 (45 mm ) i would start small octura X442 and work my way up but i would think X445 would work

I ran it with a kb45l10 but that was to hot and draw to much amps so i exchanged it for a 540xl9 on 6s and 45mm lipo and runs so far so good , everything gets warm but within the limits , speed 55mph and above .

Thanks for the compliments and yes we like to go crazy we even ran a Hopf cyclon with a xl8 and 47mm Andy Brown and 20nimh and reached the 60mph.

If i were you i start testing it with a 45mm carbon then go up to 50mm , the xl12 has power enough for rotating the 50mm K-prop but think you will end up with a 48mm K-prop or metall.
