    but i don't test 9s , i thing we can pass the 100 mph

so i would like to see your 11s in action 125mph

but i use a big propeller to reach this speed and you, you want to use small propeller??

there are so many surprises in the rc boat so i'm looking forward to see your projet in action
Mike don't do that!! We don't talk about mph, 112.... lol... and then telling everyone about 125... MIKE!! lol...

Now on a serious side with your 1527 did you drill a small hole or put a flat spot on your output shaft?

With my 32" the prop that worked was a 48mm and i hit 90.5, when i would go up in prop size it would push the boat all over. If i can run the 48mm and get more rpm then it would be stable. Small hulls like big rpm's and small prop's.

the 1527 is very power full, i broke 4 time my cable flex .

did you put something on your esc swordfish to waterproof it?

I guess its powerful, 4 drive shafts.
No, i never waterproof my esc and it has got wet but never had a problem. If i get some water in the boat ill use a hair dryer or i have powerful floor fan that works good.

Hey guys, the swordfish 240 comes with a water resistant coating already on it. It will wear down over time, but can be acheived by applying corrosion x, available at OSE.

Is that what you put on your esc, if so I'm not putting it on my s/f. Thanks for the info.

                Hey guys
I'm working on the river cat and it looks good. My motor mount will be in 2morrow and i can get it going. I'm thinking next weekend it will be ready.

I want to talk about what this hull is going to be built for. This is going to be for top speed only. Ill compare it to a top fuel car. I don't think you'll see a top fuel at Daytona speedway. lol... It will have a short rudder and high prop height. I'm looking to run the rpm's as high as i can. If my motor is a 10s max and i run 10s and i run this setup and go jumping my wake it would be very stupid of me. When you jump your wake with a prop that is half in the water it will free spin and the motor will blow. If you run a 10s motor on 5s I don't think is a big deal but i still would not recommend it. There is a big difference in a race setup and sport and knowing the difference. Ill have some pics this week.

                              Hi Howard ,

Your pushing the boundries of F/E , so we all should thankyou for posting your journey thus far with your 90 mph effort . What i am most impressed by is the fact your using s HOTR CAT , which has many doubters , i run one & think that it's a very capable hull & your proving it !!!!

Seem to remember another Howard who was pushing the engineering limits who had his doubters in history ( Howard Hughes ) .....

                              All the best mate ,
