I will give you a tip. Spread your weight out, this is why i like the s/f 240 its long and thin. So i can add weight to the front.

I think its quite a bit faster than 50 too I enjoy myself most on ose looking at what others have. I just like to see all you guys build and run. The best way to fight about who has the knowledge is to race right? BUT IN FUN! not all serious about that Sh.. And I dont mean u two . I mean in general take your differences out on the water. We all have different strenghts and weaknesses. Its cool to josh each other and talk a little trash in fun but both parties have to know that.Personally I think constructive technical debate is good for all of us I just dont think anyone should talk down to anyone. I know ive gotten out of line a time or two but hey doesnt mean I was always right. Sometimes you gotta check yaself too. Im cool with everybody thats cool with me.Truth is I dont personally know anyone on ose to really not like them. Maybe were all stressed about all the things going on in the real world righ now and these boats are a relief from it all. I need to see more roostertails and props turning ,motors sawing. Whats UP
still one of my favorite cats to watch!
something that a friend of mine said that made me step back and think was
"Run your boat not your mouth"
then I laughed and thought -everyone has something GOOD to say-

So Howard what is spreading it out gonna do? Do you mean you like the room you have so you can move your weight around where you want it? Next question how much more is left in your 4082 you think not life of the motor but how much more speed you think you can get. i just keep saying to myself "If he can do that with this equipment what would he do with a 2lehners or neus and a 40 inch or better hull?"

        CRUCIAL

That sounds like a lot at first but really is only 130hp.
I would like to make an rc boat from a jet ski hull with that motor! :D

                        98,000watts = 131.4hp and that is a lot of hp out of a 48volt 15hp motor
                        700amps at 140volts

98 mph on the water is impressive to say the least. 131.4hp with instant torque thats the thing that counts the motors torque. what Im most interested in is the esc's they use. most of the electric guys DIY their esc's
Jaked1 youll be happy with 130 hp when u see how much 1 battery cell cost these guys how about 100 plus dollars for one cell. And you talking 140 volts do the math! The price goes up quick for those hungry for electric horses . The battery bank takes up 1/2 the trunk or under the hood around the motor. They typically use 123 cells

It is awesome accomplishment and cool that is is like one of our boats that is full scale but I was just thinking it isn't that much power when you can have a 300hp optimax for less money.
Not trying to hate on it.
