A tragic end has came to this owner he has passes away 10/15/10. His wife does not speak English very well and I have not a lot of info, he could not have been over 45 years old. The boat will be going up for sale soon. I offered to help the widow sell the boat. I will be taking offers for her. They have three young children so we need to get all we can for her.Comment

OK, I woke early 2:30am. I forgot to post that there was a little smoke damage in the trial run a fet burnt on one ESC. Castle replaced them both for free. The run was done with 48% of the pack used on X442 left and rights. so it was a flaw in the ESC. I have ran the 1527 .5Y motor in a rigger with a M447 for 1.5 miles on 4S2P with 4200 Neu packs with no problem for a referance. I think it cleaned up well. I could have done more but did not want to run the bill up more.
Any way I had to clean it up and a little still remains of the smoke damage, hear is pictures of the boat now.
Props are 447 un balanced but sharpened.

Well I ended up with this boat back for a while more. All the aluminum will be refinished I am going to sand the tunnel and floor boards and clear coat the entire inside of the boat. I am also going to paint boat any one have any pictures of a Mystic that they would love to see come to life?
It is all stripped down to a bare hull and cleaned up I did a little sanding and the smoke damage will come off in a short time.

Looks like a Davette drag flat bottom and a spitfire II hanging next to it?

Tyler you amaze me, One sponson and you know what boat it is. You must spend a little time with Dave Rippie and you are right on the Davette drag flattie. But it is a runner bottom. I have a bit if junk hanging from the skylight I ran out of room on the shelf's long ago.

My second boat was a spitfire II which I never got running and the ID of the Davette is due to Mike Browns 21 size runner bottom. Keep the pics coming of the progress.

There was some guys in LA that had Out board riggers that ran Rossi and Pico .21 that would hit 63 or so. I loved to watch them race. I have a 21.5 inch CF Runner bottom to finish some day.Comment
