a motor desigened for 3,000 watts will possably pull less amps than a 1500 watt motor on the same setup.

That wouldn't happen for over a year tho lol or very slowly over the school year (school is a huge time suck) and I am almost to my buget for the summer.

But i am making a mono right now with two of the 880 kv versons of thet motor! :)

yea its black gelcoat,and yep a hotr hull.
one of these was one of my first back in to FE a couple years back.
this one is looking to be twin 8xl,s.

I was able to get Duplicolor Clear Effex and Acrylic Lacquer to stick real well after a solid scuffing with a green "scrunge" (3m scouring pad), let it bake in the sun a few days and shelved it for a few weeks before using the hull post paint. It's been the best paint job yet.

cool i was wondering how it would go just clearing the black.
going to just add some carbon cloth inside other than that it maybe a long build,so wont start a thread just yet.

Ozzie, check out "Clear Effex" it has a cool sparkle you can clear over and looks like boat paint.
