Thanks, I dont know about the motor/esc/batteries yet.
First I need to see how she swims, and after that I´ll know what to do about the strut angle,voltage,motor,prop,esc......
I hope that the 1600kv motor will work well on 2S so I only need to get reversible esc.(or use my MMM v3)

Did something today

Servo modded to rotate countionuosly ,2 drive dogs used so the hatch can be removed at any time. I´ll soon make a table to hide the dogs.
And black "antifouling" paint.Comment

NIce! Looks about scale speed for the middle part of the vid. Wow, pushing that whole boat with a 35mm prop. With two batteries you must have been close to 4kg or over 8 lbs!
good job on the subsurface drive, looks much better running at scale speeds without the roost!

The 35mm is not that small, remember it is not surface piercing one. -this is closer to maybe ~50-60mm surface prop? -surface piercing ones only have one blade in the water but this has all 3 under.
And I have not weighted it after modds, it has one extra servo(for radar),bulge under the hull full off epoxy and fiberglass. and 300ml of black paint. That should weight some.
But it is what I was trying to do. -scale running rc boat.

Didnt know it was based off of a real yacht..................sure is a nice one. Yeah, I was watching yuotube videos of rc yachts and I stumbled on that boat...maybe I should do the interior next... -with lcd tv or something...-I could use a screen from some small dv camera...and play something of the screen...(maybe next winter...)
I belive that speed doesn´t scale well, so idk, have to throw a gps inside and see what it has to offer.Comment
