still planes out nicely, but much better looking than the first video's you posted. I would say your changes are a success!

      Nicely done.

Has given me some ideas for my 40" vee hull build.

                Hello,

I'm French so I have not Understand all,
Why did you to remove the original drive?

Do you think it is possible to modify the hull to be like the real, twin engine? (electric with twin surface drive ?)

The original stinger was too high and it made really high rooster tail and that was not really scale looking. the boat also was nose heavy standard layup so I moved the cog back.

I wanted to make this look more scale luxury boat that handles and drives well at slow speeds .

The reason for submerged drive was the huge rooster tail and most of the real shaft driven boats have submerged drive so why not.

Yes the twin surface piercing drives can be made to fit but why, this is a smal boat and one motor is more then enough.

But if you want to build it twin, why not! everything is possible to fabricate.

                    Ok thank you,
But the stinger of origin is not adjustable in height?

And the true CANADOS 90 have 2 transmissions surface Arnesson, so then look for, I think a dual drive installed!
And not because he can go (very) fast, you must be done !
In France we says : who can do more can do less !

Do you know the surface directional transmissions?
                    as:

                    Steerable Drive

                    But smaller?

When I get this finished(still work to do), it will not look like canados, that is a huge boat and I dont want this to be 1:30 size. will turn this more like a weekend/overnight boat, about 1/15 scale , not an luxury yacht.

The rcmk sells arneson drives, but they are huge on this smal hull, would not recomenned that! -but here is a link to rcu where Adriano builds his apache with Arnesons. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10..._apache/tm.htm sorry, no idea of smaller ones.

I do know how to make a boat go fast, this was build to go slow, just what I wanted.

The stock stinger is adjustable, but really cheap looking and not that great.

Ok !, i understand , but i think you can find an other hull for less money for that !
But now i follow your job on it !

Thanks for links, it's exactly what i want but in small !

If you find it !, think to me !
Because I hesitate between this one or the graupner: "azimut atlantic challenger" (hull only ) with 2 graupner jet antrieb 5( I have in stock !) for looking like to a mangusta 105's !

If I find smaller arnesons, I´ll let you know.

If you are thinking of getting the azimut or princess, think how big boat you want, princess is much smaller then azimut.

How about he graupner moonraker or sunseeker, they look kind of like magusta? -or atleast possible to make it look like what you want.

                            Ok thanks for arneson !

                            Yes I know for diffrence between princess : 93cm, et azimut : 110/120cm !

And the monraker hull is very different to the mangusta !
For do it, work in azimut is more easy i think !

But work to superstructure and adaptation to two 50mm water jet instead of those original 40mm!, is more difficult as, instal two arneson instead of one !

Besides I already had a water jet boat ! (see my "french jet sprint" it's in french but with a good translator it's good for reading by you i think !)

Princess "passes" well in waves ? Can navigate in the sea or lake only ?

Princess hull shape is good, a bit shallow V but it moves well. I use it in the sea. It does get water(water fills the deep opening at the front deck) on the front deck on waves and that is not really scale. the water stays in because there is no drain holes.

The hull is fiberglass, but the hatch is most likely something else, plastic or really thin fiberglass, it feels like styrene and it can be pushed a bit in with a finger.

The hull is easy to work with because the fiberglas.

Graupner boats are plastic reinforced by fiberglas and I dont know how easy that material is to work with if some custom mods are planned.

Ok thanks for this informations !
When i have chosen i'm come again for to show you my work !
                                But princess is my preference.

Ok for water on the front deck!, it's possible to make small hole for evacuation ?
And water can not fit through the rear opening (the tender garage!)?
The radar arch is fixed by 4? rivet or screw?
It's possible to make holes for instal real windows (in plexigalss or other) ?
What length between the rear transom and the end of the swimming platform?
The original transmission, it's height adjustable, for up or down the helix?

And sorry for my english !
