OK, OK!!! Please stop posting photos of that! That hurts to look at. Let me try to finish glueing one of the reinforced ones I have together this weekend and get it shipped out to you. I think I have four hulls and three decks reinforced here now.

PM me your address again please.

The yellow hydro is a delta force mini hydro, about 16" long. the mono isn't so small at 40" long, kinda on the long side for electric.

You can get a similar size boat from minicatracing which is sailr here on the forum. I actually tried to sell the yellow one and they never sent the funds, so I started playing with it again. It is a fun boat.

I have another small one coming in about a week, might have one for sale after that. Depends on how much of a hurry you are in.

Good call Rumdog, didn't realize he had the hulls in stock. And I never even realized he carried it RTR! Don't know how many times I have scanned down that page and didn't see it.

            Definately look at OSE here.

naw, just poking fun at you for your persistance. If it wasn't for you, this whole project would still be sitting on a shelf with no progress made. I for one would at least like to see a couple of them put together and run.

I just keep chuckling because you are determined to save that hull!

The way I see it, the bottom of the boat should probably be glass. So I need to use my vacuum forming mold and make a new plug from it. Clean it up and pull a new female mold from that and make the bottom from glass. Once I have done that, I can always make a new vacuum mold from fiberglass that will last if I can get it to pull down tighter during forming. I need to work on that also.

so I will get a new hull into your hands so you can get one running on a single setup. I will build a twin or have someone else build a twin to see how that works. After those results are in, I will determine what to do from the above options.

sorry about my sarcasm and giving you a hard time. your doing great. Oh, I will try to use a bigger box this time also!

                        More progress

Here are the two hulls I am working on. Both have been reinforced and now glued together with model cement. All I need to do is epoxy the seam for some more strength and mail them out.

You are getting the single setup, has more carbon in the middle, someone else is getting the one I was making for a twin. I think he said twin outrunners are going in it, hope so! I want to see some of these run!

My hope was to make some vacuum formed parts that could be sold cheaply to let people get into a small mystic easily. Not working out how I thought it would. The crackerboxes definately worked better....

Here is how the two hull currently sit. Was going to epoxy the seam tonight, but already opened my second beer so I think I will wait until tomorrow. hoping to ship them out Friday UPS.

Have you still got the original plug? Why not just pull a fiberglass mold from that?
