I don't think there is one. There is too much money involved to get a correct answer.

Ya know, I read almost every link that people post up here. I go to alot of websites representative of both parties and both sides of the healthcare reform. I've read some of the bill which has many parts that can be misinterpreted or misrepresented. There is a lot of misinformation pushed out by some media sensationalists. Couple that with some personal drama and it makes for a volatile situation. Bill Maher said it best. "We need to replace the town hall with study hall."

Hmmm, you know your history and geography very refreshing, most Americans don't know of the latter. A lot say people immigrate also from the latter 2.

I think he was thinking about his homeland, Kenya, and is planning to make it a state. Then he plans to round up all the Birther idiots and send them to camps over there. The average IQ in the CONUS will rise at least 25 points once that is done.

Then we can get to work on the 18% of stunning morons who think the Sun revolves around the Earth and maybe touch base with the folks who do not know who we fought in the Revolutionary War (many of whom will swear to GOD that they know what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution).

Then we can concentrate on killing all the old people. We'll throw the few remaining Conservatives a bone and let them round up all the illegal immigrants so we can send their kids to Harvard and let them have the jobs of all the birther idiots we sent to the 51st state, Kenya.

You see, it's a BIG plan, and we all need to pull together to make it a reality.

Did you guys know that these protesters were organized by FreedomWorks.org and Americans for Prosperity to purposely disrupt the town hall style meetings and push misinformation? Politicians and lobbyists are so slimey. The desparation of comparing Obama to Hitler is waaaay far out there. Did we legalize drugs?

They have and continue to throw everything including the kitchen sink to take focus off the real issue. Which happens to be healthcare. I'm surprised they haven't announced that Obama wants to pitchfork Granny on national TV as a new reality show.

How to get Healthcare reformed passed?

The Washington post just leaked that there is an Alternative bill in the House that gives preferrencial healthcare to low-income citizens, minorities and women. It will be financed by taxes of the upper-income tax payers as well as the "Fazing Out" of multiple insurance providers.

Well since you brought up Kenya, I think I can now work this in.

Maybe there is some organization going on but I still think the vast majority of the people are just plain and simply pissed at congress and have had enough. We are not stupid like the media and the D's seem to think. The D's seem to be trying to convince people that they know what is best for us. I think this may be a very interesting election coming up in 2010.

Jim, that's total B.S. I know a lot of un-informed and STUPID people who talk politics all the time. They are clueless and mostly just racist. Not sure if it's like this in a lot of places still, but in northern Michigan it sure is! Most of them don't even know what congress is. Makes me sick every day.

I don't know if "they" think that they know what's good for the people. But what is not good is monopoly. These organizations are taking advantage of the american people. Too many people have died, or been maimed by the current operations of these companies. In addition, any "company" that has cause so much damage needs to be checked. The way I see it, we are on the verge of another fiasco like the mortgage industry. In many ways, these guys are playing the same game. Only the securities are virtual, it's people.

In addition, we need transparency in healthcare costs. Shouldn't we, like almost every other service, get an estimate before work is done? It would allow us the option to shop around and have a rating system for costs and quality of hospital care.
