That wouldn't be a problem to do... people all over my community here are home-schooling their kids, so it's already being done...

YOUR statement was not accurate... You can educate yourself on that if you like... I don't have time to worry about it, I'm more concerned about what is happening right now... It started with the "Community Reinvestment Act of 1978", and was boosted again by Clinton in the early 90's... Bush didn't help in 2002... nor did the Dems when they "regulated" to the industry that they MUST provide these rediculous loans... or when they BLOCKED Republican efforts to put some regulation back INTO Fannie and Freddy, etc... so believe what you will, but that's what has been happening... There is plenty of blame to go around, but that's not helping anything either...

I'm blaming everyone, but let's be honest with ourselves here... it's NOT the Republicans that want all these low income, unqualified buyers to own homes... They may like the money generated by that system, but it was the Dems that put it in place... Blame the Repubs for not removing the systems when they had the chance, but they weren't the ones that instistuted the plans in the first place...

And we ALL know that bills get defeated for all kinds of other reasons... usually when the other party throws on excess crap that really goes against party beliefs...

They are ALL dirty... the sooner you can admit that, the better you'll feel...

It never even made it out of committee...a Republican controlled committee. The Dems had little or no voice in it at all. It was proposed in committee by a couple of Republicans (yes, I give them credit) to tighten up on the mortgage industry and regulate the bad loans that were going on. It was resoundingly defeated by the Republicans on the committee. Republicans are the ones that want to and have deregulated everything. Their big corporate campaign donors will cut them off if they dare make any rules!Nothing attached to it yet. Wasn't even a bill yet! That happens after it gets out of committee and into the full house or Senate. I'll keep searching for a link to it. I guess I have to prove everything to you.

I'm not smart enough. I only have a high school education. I would end up doing some really stupid things, like the following.

Give huge tax breaks to manufacturing companies solely hunkered down in the USA.

I would give more state funding to high schools that bring back woodworking, machine shop and hands on type skill classes to high schools.

I would institute tax credits to citizens that want to take their children out of public schools.

And last but not least I would give a hefty fine to every non- American citizen living in the USA, then legalize them once its paid, and a 20 year moratorium on them bringing in another person for citizenship. Close down the borders for any future ILEGALS. And send EVERY non-citizen with any criminal record and their family back to their country.


I would also reform not reMAKE health care.

I know its all harder to do than just writing it on a forum. But its possible with the right people. Right now we just have a group of guys that are more interested in themselves then US.

Trust me, I know a lot of people with High School education, that are seriously more intelligent or "smarter" than people with college education.
