Well on computers I just upgraded to a Windows 7 desktop Dell pro system with all the bells and whistles ......what a piece of crap .....my old XP pro system was way better, the new Windows Word is a piece of junk. I still have the old beast and I am seriously thinking of replacing the new bride. I replaced the video and audio cards as they were rubbish on the new system.....but at least I got my money back from Dell on those cards

wayne, i'll record a video of it for you later, it's definitely not balance that's the issue
it's a hit and miss thing, sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't.
unfortunately my network doesn't have a built in cd drive, i would be running xp right now i'm just concerned if I rip off 7, will my external cd drive work?
plus, is there an xp for 64 bit?

That's called intermittent ( FnFrustrating, coz it wont fail when the repair tech has it )
USB1.1-2.0 cddrive works aok without OS.
XP Pro x64 .. but not for a netbook.. nor a dinosaur .. just plain silly.
Can get earlier version MsCE that run Xp OS..that'd be the go for netbook.

I am thinking of building one of these types of hulls but I have no prior experience in these boats....your comments would be appreciated apart from the Tasmanian who has a lovely wife but he can not corner any boat...just kidding Paddy....maybe!

The build was simple as all I had to do was transfer the bits and pieces from the old hull to the new one. I did move the motor back 6 mm to give me a little more room for the battery. I still have to shorten up the electrical leads. I am a very happy camper.

            zess 2 hull, Neu 1515 0.5 Y, 2s lipo, Andym special X642 prop, Hydra 240 lv = 94.7 kph or 58.84 mph

intermittent is more in a predictable pattern
f'in retarded is closer to the actual probelm, and I know what you mean about when someone else is trying to fix it.

Intermittent: random occurrence .. nothing predictable there.

Douggie it is a fast boat indeed and stability depends a great deal on the COB. It will blow over in a heartbeat if things aren't just so. I raced it in 20 rigger and it took a bit of tuning to get it ready.

P.S. In the video am using the black magic motor I got from you and it does a bit over 60 mph. I went to a AQ 2030 motor and 60 amp speedy for racing.

Douggie I am posting some pictures of my new one with the winglets removed. This completely fixes the blow over problem. I have had my old one up to 140 kph or 86.99 mph on a 4s battery and a 1515 0.5 Y motor and it rides beautiful and has never blown over. 75 mph on 3s is easy to do on this setup. I know you want a circuit one so lose the 1515 0.5 Y and get a motor more suited to the speed you want to do. Andy ran one on a Feigao and got over 60 mph with that. Chuck is right about the blow over problem if you leave those winglets on. I have taken several pics and I have a video of my new one doing 58 mph on just a 2s battery. I will try to post all I have here and look for Andy's old video to show you how well they handle.
