For us sporters a GPS is as good as a shot through the traps.
If we all use gps then we are all equal as far as the inaccuracies are.

Job done. GPS figures are gold on the S+K thread.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

      I SAW that comment coming.
      Love ya Simon

Yup not all of us have SAW events in our backyard or have money to travel to the interstate ones.

Doc I hope you did not think I was referring to you as a SAW god. The ones I am thinking about have accents

I SAW my boat go fast !............that is all I have now is my eyeometer !
I was lucky to have a Gps (thanks to Paddy) for a while and gather some data while it was above water level.
All I get now is, farkin fast by eye !!............or flip...........or smoke

Gps rocks, but eye (and ear) is fine if not too over rated !!

            No, not a SAW God.
Im just happy to have them return to shore dehydrated, without smoke.
Although with the current Au records, Id take my 3 6S boats , and one 6S pack... no matter the record, it stands !

            Imagine That... 6Scat, 6S rigger, 6S rescue barge ( mono )
            Whoo-hoo !!!!

ps. GPS speeds are certainly indicative of our speeds, give or take..
Im guessing their is no need for accuracy in gps location down under ?
My car GPS once said "turn left, now' and wanted me to turn off an overpass bridge ! ( road beneath had the off ramp ! )
see pic from 6S mono run

Doc if you think you have a shot at the title now, wait and see how much faster they are when you run them on water.

I'm posting this pic for AndyM. I ran my Seaducer for the first time last weekend (with Chucks prop) at record ovals and it got a nose job on it's second run ever. It was just a typical Seaducer stuff at heat racing speeds while I was trying to get the her set up. I was the only one on the course.

I don't know if any of you all in have run with Aaron Alberico but I got to meet him and watch him run. The man and his boats are amazing!!!!

                    Aaron.
Not seen him at SAW or oval records... though at nationals he was an education... would spend 15+ mins on each prop to make sure it was just right for the water/weather/boat before every race.. time well spent.
Top bloke, nice missus, cute kid, great setups ... a winner at so many levels.

impatiently waiting his latest record sets.

err, so the legend goes .. seaducer=seadunker..

I expected a Seadunker. I didnt expect it to come up a convertible. LOL

Anydy has been more than helpfull in giving me set up info. The boat just wasnt made the way it should have been. I sent the boat back today and we'll see what happens. If I'm lucky I'll have a P-mono by the Chesapeake race.

I will let Andy know when I talk with him on the blower Nauti. I feel your pain and hope you get a stronger one in return from the factory.
BTW Andy's old Seaducer is flying South for a home on the faster waters of Tasmania as I type.

Paddy, your Czech bimbo just returned to my doorstep... Once she ( and I ) have rested following the spontaneous exchange of pleasantries at our reunion, I'll brainwash her into submission, then send her back to your brothel-like establishment for further 'personal use'.

Do be patient, it's been so long since Ive had a 'EuroChick' that I need a refresher on how to make her understand me ....I do look forward to making her 'eyes' spin wildly.

                                A Big Thanks To Andym
Guys the Broke Back Hill Christmas Tree has arrived in Tasmania.
It is going to replace my DF33 and I want to try to knock my 72 mph mono record off with this.
In case any of you think Andy has no heart I want to tell you he gave me this as a gift. It has all the hardware except flex shaft/drive dog/prop/receiver and battery.

                                Love ya Andy
