A new speed record for this little boat. My oldest boat and one of my fastest. Only change was to lift the timing by 1 degree. Looking forward to my new FFRB rigger.
As Brushless55 said below this boat is good value for money ($129.99 US or 50 cents Aus if our dollar keeps climbing).
It comes with a stand and they even supply the connectors for the Lipo leads (I wont use them as they are a bit small).
At first glance what can I say except it is better than I thought it would be. I have done a bit of reading about this boat and everyone says to replace the esc so I am going to use a Turnigy 120 amp marine esc.
More to come

Paddy I am impressed !!!!! How many guys have run a 10 year old design ( NMHI ) on 3s an reached those speeds. NOT MANY ! After our chat today I think you are doing yourself a disservice, that rigger could go close to race distance and as you are using the stock sponson's I think we could get it doing oval at that speed ! Now that would wake em all up!! Paddy it only needs to run 2min at the most. I know that hull needs very little fin to corner well. The xs2 in my vid turning at 65 has a very small fin and was on rails. As we try to tell em it is set up, testing more testing and set up. I would like to know what the 3s speeds are at the saws ??
Well done and lets get it that fast around a bend, as a matter of fact I think it could do it now.
Cheers and well done

Thanks Andy but you have had a BIG input into this boat and its speed. Your props and advise have added at least 15 mph to the speed.
My modification of cutting the winglets off has made a little rocket out of this boat and I will take the credit for that. Those that own one of these know how easy they blow over with the winglets. The videos show how well it sits on or just above the water at high speed with my mod. As you said on the phone it looks like I can raise the strut a little more yet.
It would be good if H&M had a good look at the old hull and built one without the winglets and narrower sponsons. Narrower sponsons might be my next mod to this boat. I would like to have half a dozen new Xzeess 2's sitting under my bed to try some ideas I have. I wish I was good at shaping foam and making fiberglass hulls. Maybe I will build some own idea ply riggers when we build our new house.
