The US will be in debt $20,000,000,000,000 trillion by 2019, I expect it will be even more.

If you can't see a problem with this......keep on backing the current politicans in Washington.

i dont know about the states but i suspect it would be around the same as Australia. i pay income tax,gst,import tax,car rego, fuel is about 60% tax, every time i buy something its taxed sometimes 3-4 times before i get it.car rego and fuel tax is suppose to support new roads,bridges etc but about 6% goes back in to these, every time they build a new road or bridge here they put a toll on it and charge us $3-$4 to drive on it, i would be very surprised if 60-70% of my wages doesn't already go in taxes already

i look at politics this way
you basically have two people to chose from on election day, i look at it like two different thieves breaking in to your house
first one will screw you then kill you
second guy will kill you then screw you
they go about it in different ways but at the end of the day the out comes the same

Term limits and tort reform would go a long ways to rescue this country from it's impending doom. Do you think a bunch of elected lawyers will do anything to change either of these? I didn't think so. Let's look at this objectively for a moment: We elect people to represent us right? What do these clowns do? Write laws for us, then exempt themselves from those laws. Once elected, all their efforts go towards getting re-elected, not improving the life and liberty of us, their bosses. They are supposed to work for us, not on their re-election plans. We are governed by an elitist ruling class. Republicrats, Demicans, they're all the same. The Kennedys, the Bushes, the Clintons, the Gores, and so on. What ever happened to the idea of "Citizen Politicians"? You know, something like "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington".

Until the collective voters of this country (or any country for that matter) get the idea that the word "incumbent" after a politician's name should mean no more votes for him/her, we will be in this mess. I place a large amount of the blame on the State-run Media, and the State-run education system. Based on the most recent election results, it is obvious that the majority of voters have no clue as to the real issues, and have a collective political I.Q. approaching room temperature. Obama won the election without ever outlining the details of a single program or position. When campaigning, did he ever mention that he wanted to spend nearly a trillion dollars within the first few weeks of his administration, padding the pockets of his political supporters? Yet everybody voted for "Hope and Change". What the hell is that supposed to mean, and why is it worthy of a vote?

I think we need a new political party, the Constitutional Nationalist Party, where the platform is "Borders, Language, Culture". Unfortunately, that will never happen. As an alternative, we should adopt a "Throw the Bums Out" movement. Imagine what would happen if "Incumbent" meant automatic political death. PACS would become impotent. Back-room deals would mean nothing. Nobody would need to give the ability to vote to ILLEGAL ALIENS, just to secure their re-election plans.

I've said it before the election, and I'll say it again: We're screwed.

I think we also should also shoulder the blame. We entered into credit agreements that most sensible people would have said we can not pay based on our single or dual incomes. The banks should have said no to your request for credit.
Governments bailing out corporations because of their stupidity, is another matter, it all comes down to your vote in areas of low employment, troubled companies and the silly hope that the Government will save your job if you vote for me or our party. I witnessed the death of the auto and shipbuilding in th UK and no provision of Government funds saved those industries

Can you imagine if the stimulus had of went to "responsible" businesses? Incentatives to encourage growth and hiring. Tax cuts for the middle class. Programs to help businesses be more reccession proof. I just think that the money could have been spent a little more wisely. AIG came looking for a hand-out and then came back flaunting what they got in the faces of the american people.

Alot of times these groups look for someone to blame for some of the problems in society. What they don't realize is that the same minorities that they are blaming have the same issues. The "Elite" in this country don't have the race issues that some of America has. They have only one color...Green.

In Norway the taxes is way out of control.

We pay over 2$ a liter for petrol that makes about 8$ a gallon about 65% of this is taxes and that is LOW, in 1998 the taxes on petrol was 75%

They just started expanding the highway near me, when they are done they are putting up 6 tolls on a distance of 110 Miles. Each toll costing about 3$, that adds up to a total fee of 18$ to drive the distance of 110 Miles. In addition to the cost of petrol.

And we have a lot of silly taxes, to take one. We pay taxes on the money we inherit, so if my grandfather dies and want to leave me some money, i have to pay taxes on the money that he has made and already payed taxes on. The same goes to propery, if i inherit a propery i have to pay a max of 20% of the value in taxes, if i sell the propery i will have to pay 28% of the income of the propery in taxes.

There is nothing in my comments about race. If you are blue-eyed and blonde and sneak in this country illegally from Sweden, I have the same opinion. I don't want my tax dollars going to support you.
