Dom, the Doctor has got you on his latest response, but time will tell. I love the repartee. It makes people think.
Douggie
Not really. I just didn't want to take the time to respond in greater detail as Bush has made far many more errors. But again I ask, If Bush was all that great, would this country be in the mess that it is in now? Sure Obama has made some mistakes, but he is only a man. A man that is fighting an uphill battle against years of misteps by previous administrations.

The "Dr" yet again simply cut and pastes from someone else's blog or email forwarding.A simple Google search of any part of it shows it's origins
Steve
Of course I did a cut-and-paste; I never said I didn't. I've seen this document before, but somebody just sent me that email again. I stuck it in here because I thought it was current and pertinenet to this discussion.

And GW is not "just a man"? And did he not have an uphill battle against a hostile media, and years of missteps by previous administrations?
Mind you, I do not support or condone much of what he did, I just think the media was relentless in their attacks against him, yet they grovel at the feet of BHO. The double standard is amazing to watch, yet the uninformed never see it as they consume the propaganda spewed forth by the state-controlled media.
I said it before, I will say it again. Bush and O dont were crowns for a reason. Last I checked we are still not a Monarchy. There are far more people that are guilty of causing our problems then the one guy in the Oval Office.

That is why I stated in my post that Dr. Jet was referring to.."with the exception of one numchuk with a mental disorder and his league of extrordinary henchmen,"
It wasn't/hasn't been one person who was/is guilty of the disservice that has been done to this country.

True, but one person DOES get to pick a lot of his henchmen. By the way, have you noticed how many Czars BHO has appointed? These Czars are accountable to only one person, they are not elected, and yet they control far too much of private individual's freedoms. A "Car Czar"? a "Pay Czar"? Why should the government be involved in what a private business pays its employees? I can see it where the government REQUIRES that you do business with that company (federally run/financed organizations like the FAA or federally-mandated business like the Freddie/Fanny), but how and why should the President of the United States determine what the president of Acme Roadrunner Traps makes?
When you boil everything down, there are probably less than 1,000 men and women that control EVERYTHING this government does. 535 congressmen, a president, his cabinet, the VP, department heads, and of course, all those Czars. 3.5 million people RULED by 1,000 self-interested politicians.

Throw the Bums Out!
The "Pay Czar" overlooks the salaries of CEO's who took money from the bailouts. It's to keep these guys from taking the kind of risks, for their own benefits, that got us into this mess. Presidents have been doing this "Czar" thing for years. They just had different names for it. Usually calling them ambassador or secretary. And yes, we do have a relatively small group of wealthy individuals who dictate what the 300 million of us do.
But bickering amonst ourselves does nothing more than strengthening their resolve. Let those guys have their bipartisanship and we the people should unite and let them know we don't approve of their actions. And that corporations don't run our government, we do.

Obama's Czars are nothing new .....only more fire for right leaning innuendos..
Their darling gwb appointed 12 of them himself
"Bush II continued with a Drug Czar and then added a Cybersecurity Czar in 2001, a Regulatory Czar in 2003 along with another AIDS Czar. Bush also added a Faith-based Czar.
In 2004, Bush appointed a Manufacturing Czar. Then in 2005, Bush added a Katrina Czar, a Bird Flu Czar, an Intelligence Czar, a Copyright Czar and finally a War Czar in 2007.
Also, with the disbursement of the TARP funds, Bush appointed a TARP Czar. "
