It's pretty easy. They have kept the people distracted with petty disageements and overblown scenarios; put us in fear of real and imaginary enemies. Then these same people who we put our trust in, pass laws that eventually come back to haunt us. Disinformation, plausible deniability up to now have been their tools. But now they just say that they don't remember and we stupidly accept that. Maybe it's me. But doesn't anybody find it odd that a group of millionaires dictate who should shoulder the financial burden in this country?

The only reason you believe that to be true is based on what the media has portrayed. Have you ever considered that the media may have an agenda, an ulterior motive in what they present as "news"?

You never met the man, yet you know he has a mental disorder. How did you come to that diagnosis? Read it in the newspaper? See it on TV? Maybe you saw it on NPR.

Mind you, I was VERY disappointed in much of what he did. He was a fiscal socialist (especially well manifested towards the end of his second term), and anything but a Conservative.

Just for the record, I no longer consider myself a Republican per se. That party has failed me miserably. I am a Conservative, and until recently, the Republican Party was the only home for Conservatives. Today, the Republicans are just a bunch of Leftists and Big-Government advocates. Replublicrats, Demicans, they are all virtually the same now. On the other hand, I used to be a Democrat (back in the early 60s) until I gained some common sense and wisdom (it comes with age and experience young man) and learned to look through the media lies, distortions, and most influential: omissions. The current Democratic Party is nothing more than a Socialist front group for the Unions and the fringe kooks (global warming hoax advocates, save the transgendered polar bears, save the unborn gay whales, anti-nuke power, and so forth). Today’s Socialist Democrats bear nothing in common with John F. Kennedy and the media’s vision at that time of “Cameot”. JFK actually cut taxes, knowing it would revitalize the economy and increase revenue to the Federal Treasury (tax cuts always result in increased tax revenue - Truman, Kennedy, Reagan, Bush). Yes, I voted for Nixon, Goldwater, Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II, Dole, McCain (had to hold my nose for that guy) because they were the lesser of two evils. Better said, I voted AGAINST the other guy (with the exception of Ronaldus Magnus: He was a man I could and did vote FOR – twice).

You want real change? NEVER vote for ANY incumbent politician. Throw the bums out. Work for term limits (one term buddy, then C-YA), work for tort reform, secure our borders, make English the national language (you can speak Swahili at home all you like, but don’t expect me to listen to it when I drive through MacDonalds), and revitalize the American culture.

I lived through the 1950s and I believe that was this country’s finest hour. No one turned to the government for help (well, very few), because it was not necessary. Self-reliance, hard work, and rugged individualism was all you needed. Equal opportunity did not (and does not) mean equal outcome.

I am neither republican or democrat. The two party system is a failure. It's like a man and a woman on a desert island. Eventually they're going to sleep together. As far as G.W.? been watching him since he was governor of Texas. Probably because they tried to extradite a man from El Cajon for a crime in Texas he didn't commit and a high execution rate at that time. He didn't strike me as very smart individual back then. I admired Nixon's strength. The media...c'mon...the same joker's who waited on a beach for U.S. Seals to land for a secret mission. They have no integrity what so ever. Bottom line...Those guys in washington have turned us into life long indentured servants.

You really think they care about us...They're grumpy old men or menapause maids who's only real agenda is to protect what they have and to get what you have.

Lefties and Righties Unite! Throw the bums out!! Incumbent = Political death. "R" or "D".

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson that said something like: "A government that has the power to give you any thing you want, has the power to take what you have."

Term limits, tort reform PLUS "Borders, Language, Culture." Return America to its former greatness by promoting freedom, liberty and a free (from government intrusion) economy.

For those of you living in foreign countries: You want to become an American? Follow our laws, immigrate legally, learn English, study American history, take the citizenship test, take the loyalty oath, and welcome aboard. If you're just here for the free stuff, get the hell out; don't let the door hit you in the bum on your way (note that there is nothing in there about race - I could be talking about Mexicans or Swedes, it's all the same)!

Now this sounds more reasonable. This is something that can be controlled. I thought those were the requirements to be a Naturalized U.S. Citizen.

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush said he visited all 57 States you would have slammed him for being stupid.

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as "proof" of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on "Earth Day", would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually "get" what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have
                            approved?
If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 5 months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer.

Can't debate whether Obama is a brilliant man as he has not served a full term.
But for a longer list of Bush errors...Just Google "Bushisms"
But ask yourself this...If Bush was all that great of a president, would this country be in it's current state? After all, he pushed that snowball down the hill...
