Hi Joey. no not yet but you have shipped to me before and it takes 3 weeks to get here. I got some props back in March from a nother member and the came yesterday. it said shipped march 11 now not sure what USPS was thinking sending it to Mexico first lol and then having them ship it up here cedartree this is the 3rd or 4th time I have got part from Joey and they all come if you are in canada sit back and watch the habs kick some @ss lol it has to go to US customs and then Canada customs and then to you
OLD GUY
If you end up parting it out I need the stinger/strut assembly and prop.
Yes, I'm one of the Canadians...
Finally got the strut today, seems like as soon as I post asking where my stuff is, it shows up... two and a half weeks seems to be the norm, just have to get used to it.
Yay USPS and Canada Post... and don't forget Customs.
But I have a question. The strut that I received does not have a bushing, it appears to have been removed, the end of the strut is slightly mushroomed.
I was under the impression that, since the strut was new and was being removed from a RTR boat, which I assumed (silly me apparently) would contain the bushing, I did not have to ask if there was a bushing in it...
Joey could you clarify?
Thanks.

Reason: clarity
Its mushroomed..? show me a good picture. If I remember I wraped it good in good syrophom.. Ya, I took the bushing out. for the price of the strut.. heck a bushing cost almost that much..hehe show me a pic of the strut, if it looks at all damaged I will refund your money no problem.

Well, if I knew you planned to take the bushing out, I would've paid the extra $ for you to leave it in, as it is useless to me without, now I have to buy one and have it shipped (another 2-3 weeks). Jeff Wohlt makes a nice one for $6. You did wrap the part in about three layers of bubble wrap, the mushrooming, as mentioned previously, is slight, but noticeable, and now I know it happened during the removal of said bushing. It just seemed odd to me that someone would remove a brand new, easy to damage part from another brand new, easy to damage part? And I'm not interested in a refund. The strut is fine and I'm sure it will be perfectly useable with a new bushing. Thanks for the offer, though.
Caveat Emptor... Thanks for the lesson. And the deal.
Cedertree, the bushing slides in or out with very little effort. most times it comes out when you slide the prop shaft out, so removing it def did not harm the strut. Post a good picture i will refund all your money. I think you can drive a truck on those struts and they wouldnt bend.. but the mail might have done something crazy to it so send a picture.
Joey, as I stated above, I'm not looking for a refund, and I'm sure the strut is fine and I intend to keep it. I appreciate the goodwill. I can post a pic if you really want, but as stated, the mushrooming is slight in one area of the prop end, and won't affect the function of the strut. I would also like to note that the strut was very well wrapped, and there were no signs of damage to the packaging. Next time around I will be sure to pay more attention to what is included when buying an item. Your listing description was accurate. I just assumed the bushing would come with the strut. It was MY assumption that led to this miscommunication between us, not a shortcoming on your part as a seller...
