Thanks Chris for the update. My new boat still is not ready to get wet and the weather is going to suck. Predicting 95% rain by 9am on Sunday.

What classes are you guys running now? I have a couple tunnels and a q-offshore but that's it for now. So I need to know what I need to start working on. I don't think any of you guys have tunnels any more right?

          Jeff,

You are correct. Ackerman's winds caused most of us to get out of the outboard tunnel game. Got a bunch of Q Offshore boats though.

There is an ARR Jersey Skiff for sale on the For sale forum. Great opportunity to get into this fun and exciting class. Just sayin

              Jeff,

Forgot to answer the rest of your question. By far the most popular class is P-Mono, followed by P-Ltd Offshore, then P-Ltd Sport Hydro. That should give you some things to work on.

I need to buy some new batteries for my q offshore. Sounds like I need to get a mean machine or maybe a v bottom for offshore. Probably won't do a p-mono any time soon but you never know

Is the whiplash still a good boat for hydro?
Does anyone run the riggers anymore?

The Whip is still fantastic. I am rebuilding my rigger, but i don't know of any others.

                        Rich,

It is a 21 size P-ltd rigger. A KEPS T1 (Niklaus is now on Revision T3).

The JAE runs fantastic, but damn they are ugly.

I just got off the phone with Wayne Farrow who is running for NAMBA District 3 director. He would like our vote in the upcoming election. You can vote online at NAMBA website. Here's link to his post on OSE.

Chris have you heard from the county about using our site at Lake Bennett? Weather should be cooling off soon, need to run some boats.
