I have a ton of radios! I'd donate some of them to the club. Various AM's and FM's. You'd have to check 'em out. I also have some 2.4ghz Airtronics radios I'd sell.

There's a pretty good map and directions to Ackerman on the contact page of our website. www.wfmbc.com
If you want to race you will need to bring along proof of NAMBA membership. If you're just wanting to drop it in the water and run few laps by yourself we have been known to let the newcomers slide for a few visits. (it's an insurance thing though, and needs to be applied for if you don't already have it).
I don't think any of us are running SV's any more so you might be in a class of your own anyways. But, come on out if you're in the area on one of our run days. We try to accomodate and encourage.Comment

Danny, welcome! Please feel free to drop by anytime that we are running (2nd and 4th Sunday of every month). Follow this thread for run details and possible cancellations or re-scheduling of run dates. As Bill stated, NAMBA is important to us and needs to be aquired for any racing. With NAMBA membership, we will allow 3 visits to race w/ us and then you must join the club to continue to race. membership, as mentioned on our website provides usage of the retreival boat and allows us to maintain the retreive boat, motor, batteries etc. Here is the join page to NAMBA http://namba.com/content/how_to_join.asp
Im secretly trying to get a SV class back up and going. Before I first joined there were a couple guys running them and I had one. I joined and asked where they were and no one knew. weve never seen them again. Since I had no one to run SVs w/ I sold mine. But, Ive recently purchased another one, and I know theres a couple guys in the club that do have one. So IM sure youd have someone to race against when the time comes. Hope to see you out there

The guys at the waveblasters club in Ft. Pierce have learned to 'dial in' the SV27's. Amazing how well they run and not skittish and unstable as they usually are. I think their secret is the battery placement but not sure.Mini Cat Racing USA

I agree, all of the sv27s that ran at the nats were like no others I've ever seen. They've got those things dialedComment

Let me know what you guys decide on a swap meet date. I would rather wait and show up with a bunch of goodies than to try to peddle each piece here in the for sale section.
In the meantime, if there is anything in particular you are looking for, let me know. I may just have it!Mini Cat Racing USA

While we still have time to think about it... why don't we have a little "social" at Ackerman for New Years day this year? It falls on a Sunday, and those of us that went to Mike's last year had a good time even if it was more of a challenge to launch boats (and had to watch for the full sized ones that run there.) Just a thought. Anyone else interested?Comment

Can we get you to bring your grille?
Here's another thought to go along with it. Everybody bring $5.00 with them this week to put in the kitty for food & drink. If we want to extend the invitation to non club memebers (NAMBA still required to run) we could sell them a burger, soda & small bag of chips for $5.00. We might pick up a few buck for the treasury and have some fun at the same time. If we want to extend the invitation we need to get the word out ASAP though to get a good turnout.Comment

As long as the trailer is available by then, yes, I can bring it.Comment
