I just bought one of these

And I also purchased a PB1500 motor and 45A esc from ray Schrauwen

Any one have a small stinger, rudder or motor mount they are willing to donate for this project? I think this will be a great idea and Im sure it will help to "hook" some folks.

EDIT: I just went thru my hardware bin. I have a 70mm HOTR stinger that I will convert to 3/16 and use.

So if anyone has a 100mmish rudder w/ mount and a standard motor mount that could be used w/ a propboat motor, let me know

Not sure but think I may have a Speedmaster mini rudder in my stuff at home. I'll have to check this evening. Motor mount I know I don't have.
That one's little brother, the Arrowana has a pretty good rep over on RCG. Hopefully this one will be just as reliable for turning itself back over.

You would need to carve-out some rails but, I have the front mount and rear support (36mm) to one these if you can use it.

              Kewel, thank you Chris.

Ive got a coupler, .150 shaft and stuffing tube. Also have a new set of turn fins w/ mounting hardware. I think Ive got enough cooling line laying around to plumb it.

Oh I guess we will also need a servo and posibly an rx/tx. Ive got some old am stuff laying around, but if anyone has some newer type or tactic stuff that may be the way to go. I guess at worse case scenario for $70. I can get one of the tactic radios from tower.

Bill, any possibility you can get some smaller club logos and maybe some WFMBC.com decals made up for it? Obviously not knowing the actual heigh of the sids, I cant tell you anymore than you already know about it. Oh and maybe some "Aquamaniacs" decals for the sides as well? I thought one of the decals you brought yesterday would be great on the bow... although I did order a yellow hull. Should be fine. the Aquamaniacs in Blue w/ black trim in the same font as in out logo would be awesome down the sides.

Hi Guys, I have an SV27 with flood chamber and an SV27 with Blackwater rollover lid. I know Jim S thinks they are ugly but they sure work. If there is any interest in an SV 27 class for lower cost boating, I have access to three SV27 , well priced at $ 75 each ready to go and a rollover lid for an extra $25. I have enough parts to get one more of mine running for the same $75. Two of the above boats have new motors and all run well but have a few road rash marks. LMK and I can bring them but, unlike last week, only if you are really interested.

Scott, give me a final list of your needs and I will look after it. I have new am radios and antennae masts but will try for a tactic as there is one with the 3 SV 27 my friend is selling. TTYL BG

We've got a club boat in progress Brian. I know you told me yesterday they were kinda beat up. I think for our club "give it a try" boat, we should have a fairly nice looking hull, which is why I bought a new one. makes a good impression when you put something nice and shiney in someones hand. Plus for $37.00 for a self righting hull, hard to not go that route. If your wanting to sell them, It may be worth it to bring along at least one each time. You never know when someones going to show up and impulse buy. Also, we are going to be discussing at our next meet the possibilities of a swap meet in the near future.

And speaking of SV27s, whos got one? I picked one up to see if I can get my Dad hooked. I know Dave (HRC) has one, and Encore, anyone else. If we can get 3 or 4, may be another class to have.

(edit, sorry I didnt see the few posts after your forst reply Brian)

I found the rudder. Still in the bag with mounting hardware. I looked in an old F-86 Sabre fuselage (wings were destroyed a long time ago) that's been propped up in my room for a while and it has a couple of Hitec 225mg servos still in it. (same as the one in my DF33). I don't have any spare tx's though except for an old Futaba FM and not even sure if it still works (no rx to test it with).
On the stickers, downsizing them shouldn't be a problem. It's catching Cheryl in the right mood to print and laminate them that's tricky. I can get an occasional freebie like the ones brought out Sunday but when asking too quickly it will wind up costing at least for the material. Not sure of what you are talking about on the WFMBC.com logo since there isn't one. Confused on the Aquamaniacs too.

Um, the yellow circle with a hydro in it that says AQUAMANIACS is the logo Im refering to. It also says West Florida Model Boat Club. Havent you seen it? Bill34207 just brought a whole stack of them out to the meet yesterday. Ill get you a couple. And the "Aquamaniacs" word w/ in that logo, that font but in a straight line instead of curved to fit a circle. Ill get w/ you on it when the hull is here.

Hey Hugh. You and I need to learn how to count when we're racing. I was just looking at the video from the Q boats and we were working on lap 7 (again) when mine went over.

I have two or three SV27's. Not RTR but I do have an extremely nice looking dark blue one that needs a motor and esc. If it's not gonna be a class boat, I'd throw in a Feigao motor with it for $50 total. Somebody would need to come up here and pick it up though. I'll check another one I have. I think it's ready but no radio. Nice looking also. I'll be at my shop today and check. I think I may have another one as well without motor/esc. Maybe I could put together a deal for all of them.
