Sumanabitch, I talked about it AGAIN, 5 minutes before it happen! I was going to have it done by this coming weekend and try and have my new hatch out by mid dec. meet. Fricken procrastination! I refuse to lose today, I took about 30 min this am and pieced what I could together, then layed it up w/ some 3/4oz mat. I will probably lay up another layer of 6oz cloth over that. It may not end up pretty, but itll be back in the water...

Tunnel Race

I'll try to make it, need to test my P Spec OPC Tunnel to get ready for the last race in the STRA Storm series weekend of Dec. 4 & 5 in Dover here's a link to the race late fee entry date is 11/30 and cut off date 12/2 to get entry in. Jeff Westbrook just called about the nat's
and during our discussion asked if we were
attending this tunnel race. Great idea.
Terry Cowger and I just signed up.
Jeff Shipley is thinking about it too.
Looks like a good event. Maybe I can
learn some speed secrets about these
finicky tunnels. Look forward to seeing
some of the Florida West coast guys
again at this event.
The Race director indicated that there is a
chance that they may race only 1 round
Saturday and 4 on Sunday for the FE class.
Unfortunately we will only be there Sunday, so
that would certainly help us as they are counting the best 4 of 5.
Either way good luck to all Saturday & we will
see you there first thing Sunday morning.

I spoke with Mic tonight, we are good to go for the tunnel race on sunday Dec 5th. We will run 4 heats on sunday instead of 2 heats on sat and 3 on sunday. Its the same format we did at the first tunnel event this year.

I'm going to take a look at the trolling motor today and see if I can maybe shorten the shaft to make it easier to operate.
