No problem Jeff. I'll have them in the Van. I'll have about 7 or 8 of 'em in there if anyone else needs such a servo.

Looks like we have the retrieve boat issue solved.

Drivers meeting at 9:00. Racing starts at 10:00.

It would be earlier, but you know Mike likes his beauty rest.

          All the best,

          Ray

Heard back from Lake Owner on State Road 54. Asking if we have a schedule of events yet. That sounds pretty positive. I told them just our normal informal races about 3rd Sunday of every month but we could put on something else for them if they would like. Will keep you posted. So far, so good.

Just drove by the lake today. Not sure why (natural spring?) it is chock full of water. At least it doesn't look like it will go dry during droughts!

Now it seems the lake owner wants to run our request by another person. Just have to wait a bit longer. Hope to hear from them soon. See you guys in Sarasota on Sunday.

We had a great fun run and club meeting in Sarasota on Sunday. Those of you that missed it, missed out. The lake is incredible with an official course setup, etc. We will keep working on the Land O' Lakes location as well. Those of you on our email list should have received a newsletter today along with a NAMBA membership application and West Florida Model Boat Club membership application. It's time to ask everyone you see and meet if they would be interested in joining. Strength in numbers and all that. If you think it's too far to go to Sarasota (until we get the "north" lake in Land O' Lakes secured), it only took me 1 hr 15min to make the drive from north of Land O' Lakes to the Sarasota site. Not that bad guys! We will maintain two lakes, one south and one north and alternate events and make each lake available for sailing regattas, scale meets, and fast electric meets.

We are now incorporated in the State of Florida and we opened a bank account for the club today. No longer a ragtag outfit, but an official club catering to Fast Electrics, Sailing, and Scale along the lines of the Waveblasters in Ft. Pierce!

I think thats the eventual plan. It would do alot for the growth, I think, especially if we can continue to grow the spec series.

Absolutely! We decided we are going to do SPEC catamaran class. Minimum length of 24", no max length. Same setup, SV, UL, Proboat motors. Your choice of ESC, 4P

Mike, Hope we can get some good action going in Florida! I need to learn more about how your club coordinates the activities between sailors, scalers, and FE.

NEED MORE Q-OFFSHORE TOO........sorry for the caps..I'm all for spec, but dont want to homogenize it either. If we're going to run on a 1/6 course, we need some boats you can see.

Q-Offshore was gonna be my next boat. Then I ran into two GREAT hull deals on a P-Sport and a P-Mono.
