We had a great time at the Waveblasters race last weekend! Our members participating included: Mike Harvey, Jeff Westbrook, Hugh Ebner, Jim Slaughter, Reed Eagle, Ray Rankl. Mike and Hugh each took home a trophy I believe!

We are looking at changing our monthly meeting to Saturdays as one of our founders can't do Sundays anymore because of a conflict with his son's baseball program. Anyone opposed? We are looking at our next get together at Akerman park in Sarasota for April 17th, 9 a.m. Bring pick and shovel!!! We're gonna 'trim' the bank down to give us an easier slope to walk down to launch/retrieve our boats. A wheelbarrow would be good also!

Jeff no worries work & family come first . I ordered a hi-jack mount for my boat . Im hoping it will be here by saturday .

I just faxed my application to join NAMBA. I should have my card in 2 or 3 weeks.

Great. Timing is good. Our annual membership runs 1 June - 31 May. If you want to join now, we will give you the last two months of this year's dues for free!

I kind of planned it that way . So both memberships would start at the same time . I also plan on joining the club on the 17th . I may only be able to do the mebership fee this month & the other fee next month . If that is okay ?.

We can work that out Mike. Actually, the NAMBA membership is 1 Jan - 31 Dec. So you will have to renew in December to be active on Jan 1st.

I left super early for the Waveblasters meet so I could see their scale regatta. Wow! The scale guys have some super nice stuff. Here's a few photos.
